Dr. Jeannine El-Maasri has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry since 2006 when she graduated from CASE School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland Ohio. Two years later she completed a post-graduate residency program at Rhode Island Hospital, and a became a faculty at the Ivy League Alpert Brown University. Due to her high credentials, she was nominated a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry four years later.
Dr. El-Maasri joined Rocklin Smiles, a family driven private practice, in 2012 after moving from the East Coast. She has earned her reputation of being one of the leading dentists in her field and was nominated top Rocklin Dentist in 2017 and 2018.
Dr. El-Maasri has an intrinsic motivation for self-education and is continuously seeking further knowledge. She is currently an active member of the highly renowned Seattle Study and Spears Study clubs. Her membership translates into providing the highest quality of general dentistry to her patients.
Dr. El-Maasri enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Dr. Salim Wehbe, along with their 7-year-old son, Jad, and 6-year-old daughter, Laya. The family is thrilled of their new addition, baby boy Teo, born in September 2018. She likes traveling, hiking swimming and playing tennis. Their dog is always excited about the next family camping trip. Her family is very involved in the church and believes in giving back to the community.
Dr. Hopper has been caring for patients and perfecting beautiful smiles since 1985. Dr. Hopper enjoys all aspects of dental care, and excels in creating incredible smiles, often while his patients are lightly sedated using sleep dentistry. A true dental pioneer, Dr. Hopper brought cosmetic dentistry to Rocklin in 1990, and brought sleep dentistry to the Placer County area in 1997.
Dr. Hopper is a distinguished mentor for the prestigious Kois Center, a world renowned teaching center, where he teaches advanced dental techniques to other dentists. Dr. Hopper was also featured on an international television show creating smile makeovers.

Always a good time going to this dentist, from the minute you walk in everybody is nothing but kind. They all are very gentle when working and make sure you are comfortable durning your visit. It's the place to go if you don't like the dentist.

I have been a patient at Rocklin Smiles for 7+ years and I have had excellent care with every visit. Dr's. Hopper and El-Maasri have stepped up to deal with some challenging issues. Most recently I saw Hygienist Josie for a deep clean which I have not been looking forward to. She and the entire staff at Rocklin Smiles are the best.

I have had many dental cleanings in my 63 years and Josie did the best most complete job I have ever had done ! Highly recommend her for cleanings. She is the only hygienist to ever notice the clicking/misalignment in my jaw and explained a lot to me about issues I have with dry mouth. Very through job !! Thank you !

Dr El-Maasri is just fantastic -- she is the epitome of professionalism of what you would want in a dentist. She is a principal in the practice with Dr Dan Hopper whom I cannot say enough good things about. First, you can be sure you are going to get great dental care whether from either of them or their great support staff including the dental hygienists. The Hopper/El-Maasri practice is not just reactive, they are proactive in preventive care and watching your insurance (even over calendar year boundaries) to ensure affordable care. Finally, the entire staff from reception to billing are competent and friendly. Given, my experience of over xix decades of dental care, I can assure you, this is as good as it gets.

I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but finding Dr El-Maasri and her team, Bobbi and Ruth was AMAZING! They understood, and did not judge my fear and anxiety, giving me an explanation for each part of the procedure and generally being kind, thoughtful and caring in their approach. I am glad I found them I have had a crown (made on a 3D printer while I was there) and 2 filings and although not enjoyable I would give them a 10/10! The whole team is polite and professional - can't recommend them highly enough.

My experience at Rocklin Smiles is always a good one. Dr. Hopper is very gentle, and the entire staff is friendly, and pleasant. It's always helpful when the doctor, and staff add their great sense of humor to the mix. I always leave in good spirits.
