Good morning everyone, Im Dr. Jeannette Grauer and for the past 20 years I have run a successful cosmetic and Implant private dental practice in Union, NJ. A native of Uruguay, I attended dental school in Montevideo, Uruguay subsequently completing a residency in Endodontics and a postgraduate program in Orthodontics. I also hold a D.D.S from the Columbia University School of Oral and Dental. Recently in 2010 I completed a postgraduate program at NYU As well fluently speak Spanish, Portuguese, French, Hebrew, Yiddish, and Italian with the reading and writing capabilities for Spanish and Portuguese.
My vision for my practice is to be able to perform healing, reconstructive and cosmetic services to a diverse staff that will carry the same vision and deliver it to the patients. I have received several awards: Columbia University College of Dentistry Distinguished Alumnus, True Hispanic Pride Top Dentist for Cosmetic Dentistry, The Columbia University Alumni Magazine and The Journal of The New Jersey Dental Associations and El Diario Banda Oriental. As a passionate and driven individual in my community I involve myself in multiple organizations serving the needs of families, women and children here and abroad.
Following suite, I am also the founder of the Amazon Dental Projects a non-profit grassroots volunteer program bring sustainable healthcare through resources that are culturally and environmentally respectful in partnership with native Amazon medicine people and bringing teams of dentists and auxiliaries to provide dental care in the Amazon area. Here in the United States, I provide free dental treatment for woman that have been victims of acts of violence and need to re-enter the work force. For the past 15 years I have participated in Donated Dental Services Humanitarian program for the disabled, elderly and medically compromised. Also, I serve on the advisory board of several organizations including The Alliance for Racial and Social Justice.
Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Hebrew, Yiddish, and Italian. Awarded America's Top Dentist for Cosmetic Dentistry by the Consumer's Research Council of America. I've been a patient of Dr. Grauer for about 20 years. Her work is immaculate. She is excellent at her craft, and her staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend her.

Wonderful dentist! She has treated both of my parents and me. She is so thorough, gentle and kind. She obviously loves what she does. And she's a real perfectionist. Highly recommended.

Stay away from this practice, they are very unprofessional and very rude. I called to make an appointment and they kept on cancelling after I had made arrangements for work due to them having short staff. A lot of these reviews are clearly fake as I was referred by a friend of mine and based off of these additional reviews I was incentivized to make an appointment which was cancelled.

What a great dentist. Made an appointment for me last minute to repair my front tooth. Price was fair and her work was exceptional. The whole team is great, friendly and overall just a real great experience.

Great dentist! very friendly atmosphere I enjoy my visits each time I go for a checkup or any procedure that needs to be done. Been visited Dr. Grauer practice over 30 years. All I can say that I am very pleased with her care, I trust her judgement and I find her extremely reliable with a lot of experience in her work as a dentist .

I am not one to write reviews but my experience during and now after treatment warrants me to do so. I am not going to go into every detail but given the fact that I spent 7 thousand dollars for work on my top teeth and that in only 5 months, the work is failing concerns me. There was a good deal of work to be done I will say and with the exception of two teeth, all the work that was done has failed and I am in the process of having additional work to rectify all the recent work. Not only does the work greatly disappoint me, I paid the balance in full on the day of the final treatment and yet I still receive statements saying I owe. Curious to know why the amounts change with each statement. Like the other 1 star review, the wait is long, multiple times I sat there and waited over an hour which caused some stress due to the fact that I live an hour away and I am the caregiver to my two young children, dropping off and picking up from camp and school. The comment about the financial aspect is correct as well and definitely related when I read that review. Besides the above, the one thing that still rubs me wrong is right after having multiple extractions and inserting the denture, it was all about taking a picture! Really, like that couldn't wait until a follow up visit? The two staff members are nice though and work their tails off, definitely multitasking and stretched thin. I saw that on my first visit and thought perhaps someone had called out sick or was on vacation but that wasn't the case. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice and I had to find another dentist to resolve the mess that was created. To include an update, I was just informed that I now have to visit a specialist that performs root canals through crowns. I spent 2 thousand dollars on two new crowns at this office and the fact that they were put on over a tooth that required a root canal is beyond frustrating. Consumer beware is all I have to say.

I've been going on and off to the dentist for the past 60 years and I can honestly say that Dr. Grauer is the best! Why? Because in the past 15 years I have received nothing short of the highest level of dental care in expertise, genuine caring, integrity and an honest evaluation of the work needed to be done. When it comes to cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Grauer uses the latest technology and is a true artist in results produced! I recommend her to anyone who is seeking, not only a great dentist, but a truly genuine and loving person!

I absolutely Love Dr. Grauer and I love how much she cares about her patients. I am not a fan of dentists but she has really made me feel at ease every time I see her. I've been seen a few times on emergency basis and she takes her time dealing with different cases that unfortunately the wait sometimes are understandably longer as she deals with emergencies too. She's patient and caring about her patients and their needs. She has a great sense of humor and has shown a great deal of professionalism as well with her patients. I've been going to Dr. Grauer for almost two years and have been seen on a timely fashion and a few times I'd had to wait but staff would notify when Doctor is running behind schedule... they're all very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend Dr. Grauer to my friends and family... She is great.

Dr. Graurer takes a holistic approach to dentistry. She empowers her patients to be proactive and not reactive. Every single visit this dentist has taken the time to check on every one of my teeth. My previous dentist of 10 years did not take the same time or energy to get to know me, or my teeth. I began going here 9 months ago, and there have already been positive changes in my oral health. I am extremely happy with my decision to come here. I highly recommend Dr. Graurer to anyone.

I had the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a dental office. The doctor filled a cavity, there was no pain or blood. She works with the latest technology. She is amazing and so is her staff. Office was so clean and sterile.
