Dr. Michael Kopa Dr. Kopa grew up in Germany and moved to the United States when he was 21. He lives in Philadelphia and is a graduate of the Temple University Dental School. Dr. Kopa is fluent in Spanish and German. He offers endodontic therapy, surgical extractions, cosmetic dental procedures, implant restorations and Invisalign. In his free time, he enjoys working out and exploring the city.

Dr. Stephen Niemczyk Dr. Niemczyk graduated from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine, receiving his D.M.D. in 1982 and his postgraduate Endodontic certificate in 1984. He was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics in 1984, and established a private practice limited to Endodontics in Drexel Hill, PA. He lectured extensively within the SDM at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, directed the pre-clinical endodontic laboratory and was later named to the full time position of Director of Undergraduate Endodontics.

Dr. Niemczyk also served as the interim Post Graduate Director and Endodontic Clinic Director during his tenure at the SDM. He was the first director of the laboratory portion of the two-day Microscopic Endodontic Surgery Course, the first university-based course of its kind in the U.S. He was the recipient of many awards, including consecutive Earl Banks Hoyt Awards for Academic Teaching Excellence. Since 1995, Dr. Niemczyk has been the Director of Endodontic Microsurgery at Harvard University in Boston, MA and Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He also serves as a surgical consultant to the Postgraduate Endodontic Program at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD., the U. S. Army Endodontic Residency Program in Fort Gordon, GA. and is an adjunct Lecturer and Mentor at The Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.

Dr. Niemczyk has lectured extensively in the U.S., Central America, Europe and Asia on topics ranging from Microsurgery and Intentional Replantation to advances in Non-surgical Endodontics. He is the author of numerous papers and the founder of Endodontic Microsurgical Innovations. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Dental Associations, American Association of Endodontists, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity and numerous study clubs, including the L.I. Grossman in Philadelphia and Edward C. Penick in Washington, D.C. (President, 2008-2009) He maintains a full time practice limited to Endodontics in Drexel Hill, PA.

Kellie has been with the practice for over a year. She enjoys assisting in all procedures, but especially in surgery. While she is not in the office she loves to root for the Eagles with her husband and son. She also likes to play with her Shihpoo puppy.

Lauren is the newest member to our practice. She enjoys all the patients she gets to interact with throughout her day. Lauren enjoys spending time at the shore with her son, as well as go hang gliding with her brother.

Kimberly Dental Assistant Kim has been with our office for a little over a year. She attended All-State Career School for dental assisting and enjoys helping the doctor transform patient smiles. In her spare time, she enjoys going to concerts and swimming with her daughter.

Jill Dental Assistant Jill has been with the practice for almost five years. She trained at Harcum College as an expanded function dental assistant. She enjoys working with both doctors in general dentistry and endodontics. She spends her free time with her husband, her son, Leo, and their Boston terrier, enjoying the outdoors and camping.

Joann Dental Hygienist Joann has been practicing as a licensed dental hygienist for over 30 years. She is a graduate of both the University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson University. Joann enjoys routine trips to her beach home in Lewes, Delaware. She also enjoys reading, going to festivals, watching movies, and walking her 3 dogs.

Elisa was born and raised in Delaware County. She attended Harcum College. She has a patient-first approach with an easygoing personality. She enjoys going to concerts, going on long hikes and being outdoors.
