Dr. Jeanne Grosso is a general dentist born and raised in Niskayuna. She attended undergraduate at Union College where she received her B.S. in Biochemistry. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine with a DMD and has been practicing for 40 years. Dr. J is a member of the American Dental Association and its NYS affiliates. Dr. J takes great joy in welcoming her son to her long-standing practice
Dr. Conrad Howe grew up in Niskayuna, NY. He attended undergraduate at St. Lawrence University and received a double major in Biology and Fine Art. After completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Howe went to SUNY Albany and received a Master's in Public Health. After that Dr. Howe went to University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he received his DDS degree. Dr Howe enjoys all phases of dentistry and loves to make his patients smile.
Dr. Howe enjoys being outside as much as he can. He spent 2 years in Colorado as a ski patroller and whitewater raft and mountain bike guide. However, the Adirondack mountains is where he feels most at home. He is often joined on his escapades with his wife Marta and dog Tilli

My husband and I switched to this dental practice about a year ago. We are very happy to have Dr. Howe as our dentist. He is very thorough with his dental treatment and seems genuinely concerned with his patients. We have also found his staff to be efficient and more than helpful. It's nice to have a Dental office that cares.

When I called to verify if this dentist office/Dr was in network bc it is listed CLEARLY on the Fidelis list of providers (& I need a dentist rather urgently) I had to leave a voicemail (this part is fine I know med/dental places can be busy). I got a prompt call back (also fine). But this is where the experience was highly disappointing. When the Dr stated no they do not take Fidelis... I stated ok well then maybe you could/should call Fidelis to try to get off the list of providers. In a rude/snarky tone she said I've already tried that or something along those lines. I was going to tell her that that's a really nasty way to talk to people but decided to hang up instead bc it was seemingly clear she'd continue to argue if given the chance. I made the suggestion to HELP HER not get as many calls bc she is on the Fidelis Medicaid list of providers & got attitude. Will not be recommending to anybody that asks for dentist suggestions in capital region.

First off, I called to see if they were taking new patients. The receptionist said yes. I explained that I had broken my molar 10 days ago and my appointment by a chain dentist agency called and over booked and canceled me. I explained that I was leaving the country and asked if I could get a appointment soon. The receptionist, Mary I believe, placed me on hold for a second, then said, we will wait if you can come on down now. I was blown away ! I didn't expect that, but was thrilled and had no time to panic since I'm terrified of the dentist ! Upon arrival I immediately felt calm which surprised me. I filled out my paperwork and was seated in the chair. I spoke to one of the assistants, and we quickly started chatting which calmed me even more. When Dr. Conrad came in and introduced himself, I immediately felt my heart rate slowing down. I thought To myself that this is the first time my anxiety didn't make me sick. Kept saying wow what a gift Dr. Conrad has and his staff to be this kind and considerate to someone with extreme anxiety. From that point he explained exactly each move and made sure I was comfortable. I left so impressed, and actually made a appointment to return for more work. What a difference a day makes ! Over 50 years of carrying around such anxiety that it prevented me from regular visits. I want to thank you Dr. Conrad and your caring staff. Sounds silly but this was life changing !

I have not gone to a dentist in a long time. I have had a fear of them. Went to this office and was treated with such respect to my fears. Dr.Howe took ..the time to explain everything and discussed all options. His staff were just as kind and helpful. I will be going back to this dentist again! The office was very comfortable, clean and followed all protocol concerning the guidelines that are there because of Covid. I felt very safe there!

I highly recommend Dr Conrad Howe if you are looking for the perfect dentist! Not only is he gifted in his practice of dentistry, but he truly cares about each and every one of his patients. The entire staff is truly the most amazing, caring people I have ever met. Mary, who is the office manager/dental assistant is like a mama bear, especially when it comes to dealing with insurance companies on behalf of the patients. Dr Grasso, who started the practice, is still very present in the office, and will definitely go out of her way to acknowledge each and every patient. She is a perfectionist and definitely passed that trait on to her son, Dr Howe. Make your next appointment with Dr Howe!!
