Originally from Lockport, New York, Dr. Bancroft graduated from the State University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2002. Following the completion of her degree, she also attended a General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2002. She regularly takes continuing education classes in order to ensure an ever-growing knowledge base and a reliably high level of quality for her patients as well, focusing most of her efforts on dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. She is currently a member of the following organizations:
Dr. Bancroft has always loved helping people and feeling like shes truly making a difference in their lives. Today, she prides herself on taking a team approach to dentistry. She never leaves her patients in the dark about their available options instead, she takes the time to fully explain every detail of their care plan so that they can obtain and maintain optimal oral health successfully. Building trusting relationships is important to her!
Dr. Bancroft comes from a big family (including 11 nieces and nephews) whom she visits often. In her spare time, youll find her hiking, camping, traveling, running, cycling, ATVing, and doing pretty much anything outdoors. In fact, she chose to live in Colorado for the beautiful outdoors and the friendly people and she hasnt been disappointed by either!
Kate attended Colorado State University before attending the Northern Colorado Dental Assisting Academy. Today, she has been working in dentistry for 12 years and is certified in CPR, OSHA, and HIPAA. She truly loves interacting with patients and helping them understand all of their treatment information and insurance benefits.
Originally from Firestone, Kate is very close with her mom, her cousins, and plenty of longtime friends. She also has four brothers and a sweet black cat named Zoey. Her interests include gardening, painting, photography, traveling, art, and history.
An interesting fact about Kate: Although shes a Colorado native, she also spent two years living by the ocean in New Jersey. During that time, she collected thousands of seashells, sand dollars, and sea glass pieces that she artistically displays in her home.
Outside of work, Cathy has four siblings, five nieces, one great nephew, and three great nieces. She also has two little girl Dachshunds named Hazel and Hadley who keep her very busy. She spends her free time going to the mountains and staying at her familys cabin, as well as watching movies and hanging out with loved ones.
An interesting fact about Cathy: She loves to travel via cruise ships! Over the years, shes been to the Caribbean twice, the Mexican Riviera, and Alaska. She plans to take many more trips in the future, too.
Originally from Acme, PA, Emily completed her studies at West Liberty University. Today, she has her Local Anesthesia License and her Laser Certification for periodontal health. Since joining the dental field roughly a decade ago, she has thoroughly enjoyed helping people feel good about their smile while improving their oral and overall health!
Since moving to Colorado, Emily has thoroughly enjoyed snowboarding on the stunning mountains, golfing, playing tennis, camping, and hiking. Her favorite thing to do, however, is to spend time with her growing family!
Ruby entered the world of dentistry in 2014 after attending Concorde Career College. Since then, she has earned her certification in laser bacterial decontamination and CPR, in addition to helping countless patients on their journey to healthier, happier smiles. When asked about her favorite aspect of her job, she said its helping her patients!
Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ruby came to Colorado for school. She fell in love with all this beautiful state has to offer and decided to stay indefinitely! In her free time, she enjoys boating, camping, hiking, and snowboarding.
With roughly a decade of experience in management and more than four years of experience in the dental field, we are excited to have Johanna on our team! For her, knowing that she can truly make a difference by helping patients understand their treatment and how their insurance works to get them healthier is extremely rewarding. She completed her bachelor's in communication studies with a minor in business administration at Colorado State University and her masters in human resources at Colorado State University Global.
Johanna married her college sweetheart, and they now have two amazing dogs together, Zeus and Zoe. In her free time, she enjoys trying unique restaurants, traveling, collecting coffee cups, getting tattoos, and working on home projects.
Born and raised right here in Westminster, CO, Michaela is excited to be serving her long-time friends and neighbors! She attended Colorado Northwestern Community College before joining the dental field over a decade ago. Today, her favorite part of her job is forming relationships with patients, making sure they feel comfortable, and educating them on how to best achieve optimal oral health.
Away from the office, youll most likely find Michaela spending time with her family, including her son, Emmett, and two dogs. However, the newest addition to the family is coming in June of 2022! Some of her interests outside of dentistry include being outside and staying active.

JB Dental is awesome! They are friendly and make me feel safe and welcomed each time I visit. Ruby, the hygienist, is excellent at what she does. She lets me know what she is doing every step of the way. Dr. Bancroft is a very knowledgeable and caring dentist. The office is very clean and all the staff are great. I would highly recommend this practice!!

Great dentist with very caring staff. I don't have the easiest time at dentists but they were considerate of my comfort and incredibly friendly. Booking an appointment was easy and they kept to their schedule without any wait. Now my regular dentist!

JB Dental is one of the best Dental facilities I have every been a patient at. The entire staff is caring, compassionate and very educational. They focus on patient centered care and that is hard to find in 2021. I must say Emily, RDH can really clean some teeth!! Definitely recommend and will be back!

JB Dental has to be the best dental practice around. The location is great, the whole staff is beyond amazing and Dr. Bancroft is beyond outstanding. I am usually not a fan of the dentist but from the moment you walk into the beautiful office you're greeted by Kate and Johanna and instantly feel welcomed. I've only have had 2 visits, one with the hygienist Ruby and the other with Dr. Bancroft and Cathy (assistant) and it's by far been the best experiences with the dentist i've had. There is too much to say, so I would suggest giving them a ring as you won't be disappointed!

I recently moved to CO and was referred to JB Dental by a friend. It is so hard to find a good dentist but JB Dental made everything a breeze and dare I say an enjoyable experience. Ruby was my super sweet hygienist who chatted with me before and during my appointment, which made me very comfortable. She also went over everything she was doing and made it easy to understand. Dr. Bancroft took her time and gave thoughtful recommendations, and is just so friendly and knowledgeable. I really felt like she cared about me. Even though the whole process was extremely thorough, it only took an hour from start to finish. Thank you everyone at JB Dental!!

JB Dental has a great staff and atmosphere! As soon as you walk in you are welcomed with a seamless check in process. Dr. B and Ruby, the hygienist, did an amazing job making this visit as comfortable as possible, since I struggle with cold and metal sensitivity. I loved that they explained everything in a clear manner and answered my billion questions! Johanna, the office manager, made sure that my X-rays and everything from my old office got transferred over successfully. I've already made my next appt and you should too!

BEST EVER dentist and team in my life hands down. Dr. Bancroft is a phenomenal dentist. Her entire team is exceptional. I have been a patient for more than 3 years now and I have had only positive experiences at JB Dental. They work with insurance to minimize my out of pocket costs. I have had a few fillings over the years and fillings were all pain free. I recommend JB Dental to anyone who is looking for an excellent dentist!

My mom and I have been patients here for probably around 2 years and they never fail to provide amazing, efficient and kind service. Dr. Bancroft is fabulous and I have never met a member of her team that wasn't extremely helpful and great with people. They go above and beyond with comforting their patients and making them feel welcome!

I've never been a fan of the dentist but JB dentist was actually excellent. My first appointment was so smooth and quick. They offered headphones for music during my appointment and it made a huge difference. Can honestly say this the best best dental experience I have ever had. Also, the Kindest staff members!!

Like a lot of people, I had so much anxiety going into a dentist office for the first time (in a VERY long time). Every single part of the staff was extremely welcoming and explained everything in detail. The office is adorable and clean and has beautiful living plants! I had some issues with my insurance and they were so helpful on helping me figure out the best plan of action for my teeth. Thank you to all the staff that makes this an actual pleasant experience, your kindness does not go unnoticed

I have been coming to see Dr. Bancroft and her staff for probably close to eight years now. I had some pretty, not-so-pleasant dental experiences in the past prior, and was leery to go to any dental appointments, before I met Dr. Bancroft. The first time I saw her for an appointment, I immediately knew she was going to be "my" dentist from then on out. Her approach is gentle and kind, and she does GREAT work! Her staff is kind and I love seeing Kathy, her dental assistant, who always greets me with a smile. You always feel welcomed here. The communication is clear. The bedside manner is fantastic. They always call me the day following after I've had dental work done to see how I'm feeling.I would highly recommend them to anyone, and already have! They all do great work here!
