Dr. Joyce Bahng came to the U.S. in 2000 for her advanced education after finishing college and completing a masters in food science and technology in South Korea. Learning new things has always excited her. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Bahng has been continuously advancing her knowledge and skill in dentistry by attending many dental programs and achieving over 1000 continuing education classes.
Dr. Joyce H. Bahng received her second masters in public health at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Before that, Dr. Bahng owned a private dental practice in Cleveland, Ohio, and later moved to Virginia in 2019. She has been serving the American Army Reserve since 2019.
It is worth mentioning that when Dr. Bahng does the usual patient exam, she automatically evaluates each patient for TMD and sleep apnea to get a solid understanding of their jaw joint and airway management, which is crucial for the long-term health of their teeth. Patients are encouraged to see her for TMJ issues, jaw pain, sleep apnea and more.
Dr. Donna Chang grew up in Northern Virginia and was valedictorian at James Madison High School. Dr. Chang attendedJames Madison Universityfor her undergraduate education where she majored in biology, minored in mathematics and graduated summa cum laude.
While in dental school atVirginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Chang discovered her interest in orthodontics. After graduating at the top of her dental class, she completed her orthodontic fellowship at theUniversity of Floridaand orthodontic residency atMarquette University.
