Jayne F. Scherrman JS Pediatric Dentistry offers a comprehensive range of solutions for your childs dental needs. We provide various dental services to protect your childs oral health and help them develop lifelong healthy dental habits. Our goal is to create a positive and relaxing environment where our patients can feel comfortable when receiving quality care.

Our team strives to make dental visits a positive experience for every patient. We will help your children overcome any fears or anxiety about visiting the dentist by making the treatment process as efficient and fun as possible. Since every child is different, we will create a customized treatment plan to meet their unique needs and preferences.

I joined this practice in 1992, after a year of teaching in New Orleans at Children's Hospital and the Louisiana State University Medical College School of Dentistry, where I did my pediatric dental residency. I graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1989 and from undergraduate school at University of Iowa in 1985. I am an active member of American Academy Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, SEMO Dental Association and the local Dental Study Club. I grew up in Dyersville, Iowa, and am a middle child of seven. My father owned a Case IH dealership, which is why I talk tractor color to all my patients. I love every part of this practice. I am blessed with two children, William and Elizabeth. Our pets also play an important role in our family. Outside the office, I love watching my children grow and spending quality time with our family. I love helping those in need and enjoy sponsoring local scholarship funds. I am an aunt to 22 nieces and nephews. I enjoy cooking, listening to music and reading. I claim two half marathon medals - don't ask me about my times! I enjoy bike riding vacations. I completed the Big Dam Bridge 100 mile ride in Little Rock, Arkansas. I am an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Cape Girardeau is a wonderful community to call home.

My name is Cheri Landgraf. I was born and raised in Cape Girardeau. My husband, Luke, and I have been married for decades! We raised two daughters and have one amazing granddaughter and one very energetic grandson. I love to travel and spend time with my family. I've been office manager for Dr. Scherrman since 2014 and have loved working with Dr. Scherrman and our amazing staff. I love working with children and consider it a privilege to serve our community with excellent pediatric dental care. I look forward to meeting you and your children!

My name is Jessica Craiglow. I have three wonderful children. We spend most of our time together playing in the backyard. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Practicing Yoga plays a very important role in my daily activities. My goal as the receptionist is to make sure everyone feels welcome when they walk into J S Pediatric Dentistry. I am thankful and love working at Dr. Scherrmans office.

My name is Lacey Harvel and I work at the front desk reception area as well as dental insurance coordinating at JS Pediatric Dentistry. Working with children is always a good time. Dr. Scherrman makes sure of this! When I'm not at work, my daughter, Peyton, and Son, Julian, keep me busy. I love spending time with my family, especially on our family vacations. My name is Karri Kesterson. I was raised in Perryville, Missouri and moved to Cape Girardeau in my early twenties. I have worked in the dental field since 2000. I began my dental career in Orthodontics. I moved to California and worked at a pediatric dental/orthodontic office. I'm so happy to return to Cape Girardeau and love working with Dr Scherrman. Working with children is the best part of my job. I have two grown daughters and have an amazing grandson, Jack. I love to read and travel as much as possible, especially to see Jack!

My name is Brandy Hampton. I have a wonderful daughter, Scarlett. She keeps life very interesting and entertaining. My husband Wayne and I enjoy traveling whenever possible. I have worked as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant at JS Pediatric Dentistry since 1997. I love my job and currently serve as Insurance Coordinator for Dr. Scherrman. I love listening to stories from a childs point of view.

My name is Tammy Kasten. My husband and I live on a farm in Perry County. We have raised a son and a daughter. I enjoy my grandchildren very much. I love gardening and raising the animals on our farm. We have cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, cats, and dogs. Needless to say, we are animal lovers! I am an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and have worked at JS Pediatric Dentistry since 1997. Whether I am cleaning teeth, taking x-rays, or assisting with dental work, I love making childrens experience positive so they are ready to return to us again. My name is Rebecca Seyer. I have worked with Dr Scherrman since 1999. I have worked as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and as a receptionist. My husband Roger and I have five beautiful children. I love animals and, you can only imagine, the many pets we have raised with our five children. I keep very busy and I cannot imagine not working with children.

My name is Carrie Brown. I was born and raised in the South, so you may recognize me by my Southern accent. My son and daughter keep my life interesting and busy. We love traveling and enjoy spending quality hours at the beach. Our dogs keep us entertained! I've worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Scherrman since 2008. Our office is full of laughter and a great place to work, I look forward to seeing you soon!

My name is Katelyn Seyer. I love animals, especially dogs. I love working with children and Dr. Scherrman's office has been a perfect match for me. I leave smiling each day! In my spare time, I enjoy exercising and am a movie enthusiast. I have three sisters and one brother and love spending time with our family.

Hi my name is Amanda Stephens. I have lived in Cape Girardeau my whole life. I have two nieces named Lilly and Amelia who are my best of friends. I love my job and currently work as a dental assistant for JS Pediatric Dentistry. I love my choice of getting to work with children. Its the best decision I ever made.

Hello, Im Emily Harris! I have worked for Dr. Scherrman since August 2020. I love taking care of our patients and educating them on how to take care of their own teeth. Semo was an amazing experience, because I love learning new things. I have grown up in Cape Girardeau and enjoy our community. I always have an artistic project on my to do list. If Im not working you can find me at home with my dog watching TV and daydreaming about adventures! I also have been known to karaoke!
