After spending the first decade of her life in Cambridge, OH, Dr. Jayashree Srinivasan moved to Auburn, AL. She grew up watching Auburn football and playing tennis. She loved Auburn so much, she decided to stay there for college. Jayashree received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University in 2007 and her Master of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University in 2009. Determined for success, she went on to obtain her dentist degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2013 and completed her General Practice Residency at the University of Michigan Health System in June 2014.
Dr. Srinivasan decided to become a dentist after working as a surgical assistant with a local oral surgeon in Opelika, AL, who is the same surgeon who extracted her wisdom teeth. She had yet to land on a career path until she observed his passion for the field of dentistry. The hands-on experience confirmed her love for the practice of dentistry. Now, after 10 years in the dental field, she finds the impact that can be made on an individual, by giving them their smile back, to be incredibly satisfying. Jayashree feels that she can change a patients life and give them their self-confidence back.
She believes the doctor-patient relationship is the most important aspect of building trust with a patient. It is crucial to educate patients on the importance of good dental hygiene, as well as prevention and believes it is important to focus on both aesthetics and function in her dentistry.
Dr. Srinivasan is a member of the American Dental Association, the Eighth District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She completes up to 20-40 hours of continuing dental education per year.
Jamie has over 14 years experience as a registered dental hygienist, and has been withDr. Jayashree Srinivasan since 2016. She obtained both her associates degree in dental hygiene and her certificate in dental assisting from Broward Community College.
She always knew she wanted to take a path to dentistry. As a child, she had a fascination with teeth. Her granny had partial dentures and instilled in her, at a young age, how important it was to have a healthy mouth. Following high school, she went directly into the local dental assisting program.
Jamie is motivated by her patients and finds the ability to educate them on their dental health and help them become healthier overall to be very satisfying. She is especially interested in the area of periodontal therapy.
She has two dogs and one cat. She loves calling the Huntsville area home because she enjoys the ability to travel throughout the Tennessee Valley, trying the many different dining experiences, places to shop, and outdoor activities. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys kayaking, hiking, going to the beach and shopping for shoes.
Jennifer is the newest member of Dr. Jayashree Srinivasans dental team. Jennifer has been working in the dental field since 2008 as a dental assistant. She recently relocated to the Huntsville area from California, where she was born and raised.
Jennifer attended Everest Technical College where she received her dental assisting certificate, knowledge, and skills. She went into dentistry to help patients feel confident with their smiles and fell in love with the industry. Additionally, Jennifer worked in pediatric dentistry and loved showing the kids how easy and fun the dentist can be.
Jennifer married the love of her life in 2012. They had 3 small dogs that were their children until their daughter was born. Now, they all love spending time together outdoors camping and hiking. She loves the move she made with her family to the area and cannot wait to make many memories in our community.

I have been coming to see Dr Srinivasan for several years. She is the best dentist I have ever had. She is always pleasant, gentle, efficient, and does great work. I highly recommend her and her wonderful staff.

I dislike going to the dentist. I had not been in 4 years! Dr. Srinivasan and all of the staff were warm, knowledgeable and professional. The calm atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for! Best dentist in Huntsville, if she can make me happy she can make anyone happy.

Absolutely a wonderful experience!! Excellent and very friendly staff, very thorough and detailed. My dental hygienist was very careful, detailed and informative along the way. Dr. Srinivasan took the time to examine and explain everything and provide options. Waiting room and all areas kept very clean. Best dental experience I've ever had. Looking forward to my next dental visit...for the first time ever.

Dr. Srinivasan and her staff are WONDERFUL! I had not been to a dentist in a long time (more than I'd care to admit) so there was a large amount of buildup and other issues. Jamie, the dental hygienist, did an incredibly thorough job and made it as painless as not going to the dentist in 4-5 years could be! Dr. Srinivasan was thorough in her examination and they were all so helpful and friendly! I highly recommend them to EVERYONE!

Dr. Srinivasan and her team are great! I went there first, just to get whitening trays. I was impressed with the service and loved they had early morning appointments that worked better with my work schedule so I made the switch! I went for my first routine cleaning yesterday and had a great experience! I only waited in the lobby a couple minutes! The dental hygienist Jamie and Dr. Srinivasan were so thorough and gentle! I'm happy I made the switch!

I became a patient of Dr. Srinivasan about a year ago and I am very pleased with Dr. Srinivasan, her office and her staff. Jamie is my hygienist and does a great job and treats me great. Dr Srinivasan is very knowledgeable and thorough and easy to deal with and provides good feedback and information. When my prior dentist passed away I was not sure where to go or even how to find a good dentist. I did and am very pleased. By the way the name is John not sure what is up with google.

Dr Srinivasan has been my dentist for the past several years. She and her staff are always professional, personable and thorough. I've always felt their standard of care was above and beyond. With Covid, I, like many others, was concerned about doing any routine medical care in the middle of a pandemic. But, knowing the level of hygiene already in place in her office, pre-Covid, I was confident that I would feel comfortable going in for my scheduled cleaning/check-up this month. And I was not disappointed!! These women know how to get things done when it comes to keeping everyone safe and healthy. Great job Dr. S and Jaime!
