Dr. Jay M. Azling is a native to southern California, having been raised in nearby Orange County. After graduating from Canyon High School in 1980, Dr. Azling attended the University of California at Davis. He graduated with honors, earning a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Psychology. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1988 from the prestigious UCLA School of Dentistry (sorry Trojan fans!)

Dr. Azling started his dental career in Cerritos as an Associate Dentist in 1988 under the direction of Dr. Chris Martin. Dr. Azling and Dr. Martin became partners in 1991 and enjoyed working together for seventeen years before Dr. Martins retirement in 2005. Dr. Azling continues to serve the Cerritos and surrounding communities focusing on family dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetic and rehabilitative care. He has received advanced training at the prestigious Las Vegas and Seattle Institutes for Advanced Dental Education.

He enjoys utilizing the latest technology and state of the art dental materials and is constantly seeking ways to make going to the dentist more fun. Most of all, Dr. Azling takes pride in treating his patients painlessly while maintaining the highest level of integrity and commitment to excellence.

Dr. Azling and his wife Carla were married in 1988 and have two wonderful children: a daughter, Chandler, born in 1993, and a son, Landon, born in 1997. He enjoys golf, baseball, and spending time with his family and of course is a die-hard Bruins fan!

Dr. Johanna Paco was born in the Philippines, grew up in Montebello, California, and attended Schurr High School. She graduated from UCLA in 1987 with a bachelors degree in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at USC and also received the Excellence in Oral Pathology Award. (Yes, she is an equal-opportunity Bruins/Trojans fan!)

Her dental career is focused on providing care for patients of all ages using the multiple phases of dentistry. Dr. Paco strives to provide the best possible care to her patients by staying educated in the latest advances in dentistry. She believes that listening to her patients concerns, wants and needs as well as educating her patients about their dental health are key to providing quality care.

Dr. Paco resides in Montebello, CA and is married to Richard Puou who is a personal trainer. She is a Stepmom to four beautiful young adults (Kristal, Makalani, Elijah and Chanelle) and a proud Grandma to seven beautiful grandchildren (Maliya, Malakai, Andie, Issac, Jackson, Aaron, and Mila.) For leisure, Dr. Paco enjoys reading, exercising and going to the beach to soak up the sun and play some paddle-ball. She also loves serving at her local church and spending time with family and friends.

Diana has been a smiling face in Dr. Azlings front office since 1997. She started her career in dentistry as an assistant in 1991 and after a few years, she realized she preferred working in the front office. Providing outstanding customer service with compassion is what Diana loves most about her job, and she especially enjoys helping the fearful patient by making them feel comfortable. Diana is a major Angels baseball fan and in her free time, she enjoys listening to country music, camping, and taking river trips with her husband, Mike, and son, Timothy. Her favorite holidays are Halloween and 4th of July.

Jenny was born in Guam and moved to Southern California as a 15 year-old girl. She started at Dr. Azlings office in 2007 as a part-time file clerk and quickly proved herself as a hard worker and strong team player, earning herself a full-time front office position in a very short time. She loves the friendship and camaraderie she feels at Dr. Azlings office, and its her friendly smile that patients first see when walking in the door. Jenny is proud of her husband, Ken, who has served in the US Marine Corps since 1990. Although he is frequently away on tours for extended periods of time, Jenny remains positive and upbeat for her two college-age children, Kenny and Marissa. She enjoys traveling and her favorite memories are from Okinawa (Japan), Perth (Australia), and Paris (France).

Isabel attended Cerritos College where she graduated from the Dental Assisting Program. She began her career as a dental assistant, and after 17 years transitioned into the front office. She has managed multiple dental offices and studied Dental Management in Florida. Isabel has enjoyed participating in mission trips to Haiti where she assisted in providing dental care to impoverished communities. She found these trips to be very humbling and rewarding experiences. Isabel loves spending her free time with family, especially her daughter Alyssa, and having brunch with her close friends. She is also a big Dodger fan. Isabel has been an asset to Team Azling since 2019.

Kelly was inspired by a wonderful dentist she had growing up and got into the field by first becoming a registered dental assistant and then a registered dental hygienist. Kelly graduated from USC with a BS in Dental Hygiene in 1998 and has been on Dr. Azlings hygiene team since April 2000. An interesting fact about Kelly is that she enjoys collecting antique dental tools, books, products, and memorabilia--but dont worry, none are used in our office! She also enjoys spending time with her son, Cameron, and says that the beach is her happy place. Kellys favorite quote is Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Lisa Domine is a southern California native. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Pasadena City College in 1999 and has been practicing ever since. She loves being a hygienist and giving her patients the best care she can. Since 2010, Lisa has sat on the board for the non-profit organization Tongan Alliance of America, which promotes education and cultural preservation within the Pacific Island community. Outside of work, Lisa loves spending time with her (large) family, playing volleyball, and travelling anywhere and everywhere! By far her favorite vacation spot has been Tahiti, but there are still plenty of destinations left on her bucket list.

Rebecca graduated from West Coast University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. After graduation, Rebecca moved to Northern California where she had the opportunity to help institute an interdisciplinary education program focusing on the connection between oral wellness and whole-body health. Rebecca has a passion for providing patients with safe, comfortable, and effective care and makes an effort to stay up-to-date on all the latest dental technologies. In 2020, she completed the Dental Laser Standard Level Course at the Academy of Laser Dentistry and is passionate about implementing laser technology in her dental hygiene practice. Rebecca moved back to Southern California in 2020 to be closer to family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, travelling, attending live events, and hanging out with her dog Chunk.

Jackie, a Southern California native, is a double Trojan. She received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Southern California in Dental Hygiene in 2019, followed by her Masters degree in Community Oral Health in 2021. During her time in dental hygiene, Jackie was heavily involved in community dentistry and travelled throughout California and internationally to provide dental care to underserved communities. Jackie joined Dr. Azlings hygiene team in 2021. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, family, and her three fur babies as well as watching football. Go Rams!

Feli gives credit for her interest in dentistry to growing up with a crooked cuspid tooth that stuck out every time she smiled. As evident from her beautiful smile, Felis crooked tooth is gone, but her passion for helping patients achieve healthy smiles is alive and well. Feli has been a cherished assistant for Dr. Azling since February 2001, and her dedication and proficiency has led her to become the back office team leader as well as our OSHA Compliance Coordinator. Felis motto is Be true to yourself, help others, make each day your masterpiece, make friendship a fine art, and give thanks for your blessings every day.

Lupe became interested in dentistry after having a great experience with braces for two years. She graduated from the Bryman college in 1992 and then completed continuing education at the University of The Pacific for cosmetic reconstruction, restorative veneers, and implant dentistry. Lupe has been by Dr. Azlings side since March 2006 and continues to be a remarkable ambassador of his practice. Lupe enjoys staying fit with zumba, yoga, weight-training, and golfing with her husband, Jimmy. She loves to karaoke and her favorite movie is Family Man which makes her cry every time.

Amie was born and raised in the Phillipines and received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Medicine at the Centro Escobar University in Manila in 1998. She moved to California after graduation and started working as a dental assistant in 1999. Amie became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2006 and joined Dr. Azlings team in April 2011. Amie says her favorite part of working at Dr. Azlings office is being part of a great team of caring, talented professionals where she can share her knowledge and skills and be appreciated for a job well done. In her free time, Amie enjoys foodie trips, cooking, hanging out with friends, getting massages, and watching sunsets at the beach.
