Jay and Lucy are both amazing dentists. They are super friendly, and they make you feel comfortable during your appointment. I appreciate their gentle but thorough cleanings and the fact that they never try to push for unnecessary dental work. I highly recommend them.

Dr Jay, was really great, he took time to explain my x-rays and was honest about things that did not need immediate attention and those that might be problematic and to keep an eye on them. He is friendly and professional and very welcoming as I was a new patient for him and he made me feel as if I had always been his patient!!

Amazing and kind dentists! I haven't gone to the dentist for several years due to a pretty strong phobia of dental work. Recently, however, a filling of mine cracked and I had to get it checked out. Jay looked at it, and even x-rayed my whole mouth without charge, and was incredibly informative and kind. While fixing my filling he could tell I had a lot of anxiety so he took it nice and slow and talked me through the whole process. He even managed to fit the new filling perfectly to my plastic retainer, which saved me a lot of money! Upon returning for a cleaning after a week he talked me extensively through a game plan for a tooth that might need more work. Typically I would be terrified, but Jay's knowledge and calm attitude assured me greatly. I highly recommend Jay and Lucy. Especially if you have a phobia of dental work! Frankly, I am excited to go back in six months to get my cleaning!

I highly recommend this practice! Jay and Lucy are very professional and friendly, while also being clear and easy to understand. The cleaning was a breeze, very nice atmosphere and asthetic in the office.

They have moved to Menlo Park recently (888 Oak Grove Ave suite #2). Highly recommend. Very honest dentists that do not try to bloat costs.

We will never leave:) I started going there and instantly felt comfortable. Dr.Jay and Lucy are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and truly want the best for you. After seeing them I tries so hard to convince my husband to go there after he has been with the same dentist for 18 years. Lucy pointed something out to him about his teeth that his current dentist never did and he has been a loyal customer since. We are big fans- we were new to the area so I was unsure but sure enough we found our forever dentist A++++++

I would recommend Drs. Jay and Lucy to anyone looking for a dentist in the area. They are friendly, welcoming, and super thorough! You can tell they care. Dr. Jay gave a thorough explanation of my x-ray results and let me know at each point in the visit what he was going to do next and why.

Very knowledgeable, honest and super nice dentists. They take Covid very seriously. I feel safe the whole time I was there. Plenty of parking too. Let's just start by saying I'm really scared of the dentists and HATE needles (but who doesn't?) so I am generally very critical of any dentists I go to. Soft, gentle hands is what I always look for and they both are! I'm so glad I found Jay and Lucy as dentists I can trust. They explained my treatment plan in depth, gave me options (I never felt like I was pushed to do anything I don't want to), and consequences of no treatment (what would happen in a certain timeframe if I chose to not do anything given the problems I have in my mouth). Never thought I would say this but I loved my experience at Jay and Lucy's and look forward to my dental appointments now. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to give Lucy and Jay a try.

Dr. Hua and Dr. Gu and were simply amazing. Dr. Hua performed a deep cleaning on me and I barely felt a thing as she was very skilled and gentle in the whole process. Dr. Gu is very personable and knowledgeable in his assessment of my teeth. I personally had many bad experiences previously with dentists which is what deterred me for going to the dentists for many years. However, my opinion changed after a visit to the office. I highly recommend Dr. Gu and Dr. Hua for anybody who might have had bad experiences in the past, they will definitely make you feel very comfortable and assured in their competent hands.

Jay and Lucy are both very friendly. Lucy did a great job and helped me understand what was going on with my teeth. The cleaning went well and was fast. I would very much recommend them as your new dentists!
