Dr. Elssy Lopez grew up half an hour away from Jacksonville in Orange Park, FL. She attended the University of Central Florida for her bachelors degree where she studied Molecular & Microbiology along with Chemistry and Mathematics. After graduating from UCF, she moved to Maryland where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the first established dental school in the world, University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Daniel is originally from Palm Coast, FL. He grew up working on cars and doing mechanics with his dad. He likes that the dental field incorporates mechanical skills, along with creating life-long connections with patients. On his time off, Daniel enjoys going to the beach, spending time with his beautiful dog, and playing video games. Daniel is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and is currently studying IT right here in Jacksonville. He is excited to bring his skills to our team!
Erika has lived in Jacksonville for over 10 years. She enjoys teaching, volunteering, and doing arts and crafts in her free time. Erika is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish fluently. Her gentle, kind and caring personality makes Erika one of Jax Smiles most beloved team members. She loves educating and fostering relationships with her patients and enjoys being an intricate part of the Jax Smiles Team.
Keilly is originally from Puerto Rico. She joined our team in June 2021 bringing with her a unique set of skills and experience for the dental field. Keilly is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish fluently. Her positive, upbeat and charming personality stands out as soon as you walk in the door. When she's not at the office, Keilly enjoys working out, running at the beach, and spending time with her family.
Daisy is originally from Puerto Rico. She is bilingual and on her time off Daisy enjoys taking long walks on the beach, jet skiing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Her caring and charismatic personality is one of kind and will make you feel at home from the moment she calls you into the room to the moment you are walking out the door. We are lucky to have such a kind and generous person on our team!

I'm a cancer survivor & the chemo wreaked havoc on my teeth & I stop going to the dentist for over 12 years which made things worse, I went to two other dentist before coming here & I'm so glad to have found this office & Dr Lopez, I had to have 7 extractions & when it was over I said it was not bad as I thought and it was not as painful as the Dr made sure my comfort came first before beginning, the office is clean, the reception area is cozy & peaceful, the staff are warm and considerate along with Dr Lopez, I feel her out of pocket prices are fair & the savings plan they offer for out of pocket payers really helps! Wonderful office & experience!

This child dentistry is all about money only!! I read their reviews and I wanted to give it a try but boy, all they talk about is money I took my toddler there for a check up along with Sdf fluoride treatment and they did nothing nothing that I paid for, then telling me I have to pay more for sdf like ? When I called to make the appointment I repeat self several times and explain to receptionist and she said yes it's included in the price and that they do that, now when I got there I had to pay before I took my toddler inside then I ask them about the treatment they said they can't do it and how they have to order it and I have to pay more money then my toddler teeth (4) Dr said it have to be extracted and the DR said he won't feel pain if my husband and I hold him down , then she was in a hurry like she's rushing, she checked my child mouth then said she'll come back never did, the receptionist came, back wit a sheet of money breakdown to pay thank God I didn't listen to them, they tell you one thing on the phone then when go there at the office is something else, they did nothing, just a rip off, worst child dental ever been to, $ 222, rip off Dr spent about 2 mins . Please don't take your child there, the assistant for Dr idk like she don't smile, !

Amazing experience!! I had to have an emergency extraction and was in extreme pain. The staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Lopez put me at ease and flawlessly extracted the tooth. 10/10 Highly Recommend!

First off I haven't been to the dentist in years. I did not feel shamed for not going regularly. The facility is very nice and clean. I was able to make my appointment online and get in quickly. Dr Lopez was very professional and reassuring. My hygienist was Daisy I believe. She was very sweet. I have to return for a couple cavities to be filled but I am very comfortable doing so. Highly recommend

I got my wisdom tooth pulled out at this dentist office, they finished very quickly and did a great job with the operation and the staff was very wonderful and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

I have always been terrified to go to the dentist, so I haven't. Now my teeth are so bad I have to get extensive work done on them but everyone here made sure I knew all of my options and helped me decide which direction will benefit me the most and at the same time save me the most money. They were totally honest even when I wanted them to lie to me about how painful it will be! Very happy I chose Jax Smiles as my new Family Dentist!

I've always had anxiety when it comes to the dental chair but Dr. Lopez was amazing! She and her staff went above and beyond to make me feel at ease while getting my X-rays and cleaning. They were fantastic and I'll will be coming back. Give them a try!

Jack Dennis is the best I have very bad anxiety when it comes to Dentist they took care of everything for me made sure I was okay talk me through the whole thing I would recommend them to anyone she was a wonderful wonderful dentist and I will be going back for root canal and some feelings
