Great office with an even more amazing staff! Always a pleasant experience while at the office and when I call with questions, to cancel/reschedule appointments. The staff members are genuinely kind, helpful with my millions questions (esp the ones related to insurance), and do a fantastic job of accommodating my impossible schedule. They are truly wonderful and the reason why I haven't found a new dentist even after moving an hour away! So grateful to have found Jax Beaches Family Dentistry!

I have been going to this practice since before Dr. Alfuente joined the practice as I was her patient at another office and I followed her here. My good fortune. The entire family of employees are super. My family lost our youngest daughter last summer and we received a card from the practice that every one of the employee signed with most saying a few caring words. She was a patient as well and the entire time she was hospitalized every person I spoke to asked about her. They are great at what they do as well! Brock and Lacey Lucas

This place is awful. They made my kid so upset. They were rude and disrespectful to my child. As a parent you should never bring your child here. If i could give zero stars I would. Extremely disappointed is an understatement. My child said do not go it is horrible.everything and everybody are so mean a rude.

This place is amazing. My first visit was this week. After having a horrible, and I mean horrible experience at one of those "chain dentists" I found this office. They actually gave me hope, were compassionate about my situation, and gave me a game plan going forward. The front desk, tech, and Dr. Kelly were fantastic. I've already told my family and coworkers to go here if they need a new dentist. Thank you everyone and I look forward to a long and healthy relationship!!

We live about an hour away in Kingsland, GA. A friend of mine recommended them. He said the dentist Michelle is the best. I went there about 9 months ago for a second opinion. My current dentist said that I needed, quote, a bunch of crowns. My teeth didn't hurt and were causing me no problems. When I got there, they said Michelle was on medical leave for back surgery, and there was another dentist, Jim, who would be seeing me. Jax said I needed 3 crowns. I figured that I'd let them do one and see how it goes. The crown installment went ok, but I had sensitivity to temperature and pressure when the anesthetic wore off. MY bite was correct, but I had pain. They offered no solution, but that it might calm down over time. Needless to say, I was in no hurry to do another crown. They called me a couple of times to schedule another crown, but I suggested that I was waiting to see if the pain subsided, and that they could look at it at my next cleaning appt in a few months. I went back to my next appt a couple of months ago, and that didn't go well. They took a full head x-ray, which went ok. Then the assistant put the lead blanket on me and proceeded to take approximately 15 xrays. I inquired about how many xrays she was taking, and that I wasn't that comfortable with the number of xrays, and she said it's not that harmful. So I said, then what's the lead blanket for. She said that some people are just more comfortable with it. Anyway, after about 45 minutes, I sensed that she was killing time. Then the dentist looked at my teeth, and I thought that was a bit odd, because usually the dentist checks teeth after the hygenist. I mentioned that to him, and he deflected it, by saying somethng about checking for mouth cancer first, before the cleaning. He was very abrupt, told me I needed 3 MORE crowns, and that the hygenist called in sick this am, and I'd have to come back to reschedule. I was incredulous, and couldn't get out of there quick enough. Just unbelievable. have since found a good dentist, who replaced the cracked fillings in the teeth that needed it.

Reposting as apparently these reviews are being filtered and my original review never showed up. I had no idea how bad I was being treated with this dentist. I have nearly perfect teeth and have never had a cavity in 32 years. I had seen a dentist in the San Marco area my whole life and I started using this dentist when relocating to the beach 5 years ago to avoid the drive. With Jax Beaches Family Dentistry, I finally got fed up with them trying to sell me everything under the sun every 6 months when I went in for a routine cleaning. It was exhausting to know that at the end of every appointment I was going to have to repeatedly decline when she pushed me to buy a bunch of products/services I didn't actually need using scare tactics while they had me in the chair. I always left this place feeling pretty bad about myself. I recently tried a new dentist and he told me exactly what my dentist previously told me: my teeth are perfectly healthy with no cross/overbite and I don't have a need for any of the expensive products I was being pushed to purchase so they could meet a quota. She also isn't very professional in the way she treats her staff in front of patients, which I noticed on multiple occasions. Avoid this place.

I am a new patient (retired) who was referred by two of my friends. I was very impressed. They have (it appears to me) state of the art equipment with reasonable prices. The office is busy but everyone I met with seemed caring, competent and concerned about me. They have an inexpensive package that includes x-rays, two cleanings and assessment. The x-rays and pictures were super thorough. I met with a staff member afterwards to schedule and budget for subsequent treatments. I felt like I was in good hands. I have had my first cleaning. My hygienist was personable and did an excellent cleaning. She explored and recommended home techniques without being pushy. I have a crown scheduled for next week. I will update my review when it's complete.
