Having moved to Toronto, Canada, he began his education at the University of Toronto with a degree in Molecular Genetics. He then completed four years of dental training at the University of Western Ontario in Canada followed by a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Toronto.
Due to his immense passion for surgery, Dr. Ansari joined the Residency Training Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Brooklyn Hospital Center affiliate of Cornell University and then completed a fellowship in Cosmetic/Maxillofacial Surgery at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of Oral and Maxillofacial conditions, including orofacial pathology, dentofacial deformities, infections, dentoalveolar defects, and maxillofacial trauma. He is well versed in Orthognathic procedures, implant therapy and bone grafting, as well as dentoalveolar surgery. Outside of his professional interests Dr. Ansari has a tremendous passion for technology and its influence on our lives. He has a special interest in Apple technology, literature and world travel. Dr. Ansari currently resides with his wife, son and daughter in West Hartford.
Joel, an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, has been in both private practice and academics for over 30 years. He has developed techniques for bone grafting, immediate impressions for implants, prosthetic applications for implants and delayed restorations. He is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial surgical training at the combined programs of Tufts University and Boston University School of Graduate Dental Medicine.
Dr. Rosenlicht is a nationally recognized author and lecturer. He has written numerous articles, contributed to seven textbooks and is a highly sought after speaker. His presentations are always enlightening, well received and often bring new clarity to procedures and techniques for implant dentistry and oral surgery. Over the past 20 years over 1,000 dentists have participated in his courses, both live surgical and didactic programs at his office and teaching center, the Connecticut Dental Implant Institute (CDII)in Manchester, Connecticut. Dr. Rosenlicht has been the president of both theAmerican College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons(ACOMS) and theAmerican Academy of Implant Dentistry(AAID).He is also a diplomat of theAmerican Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery(ABOMS) and of theThe American Board of Implant Dentistry(ABOI). Dr. Rosenlicht is the Director of the Connecticut Study Club For Excellence In Dentistry (CSC), a recognizedSeattle Study Club(SSC) Organization. The Study Club provides continuing education to doctors of various specialties within Connecticut. When not at his practice, Dr. Rosenlicht can be found traveling worldwide on the lecture circuit, reviewing a case,teachingimplant courses or directing an eventforthe Study Club. Dr. Rosenlicht and his wife, Doreen, reside in Northeastern Connecticut. They have 3 children: Jordan, Tyler and Sarrah. In addition, Dr. Rosenlichts grandson is his pride and joy. Hobbies include skiing, golfing, tennis and is an avid pilot of his own Airplane.
Dr.Ventura, is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, who joins the Jawfixers team with excitement and passion for quality surgical care and exceptional patient experience. As a Connecticut native, he attended the Universityof Connecticut where he obtained a degree in Biology. He then continued his education with four years of dental training at the University of Connecticut, followed by a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Rochester in New York.
In pursuing his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Dr.Venturawent on to train at the University of Rochester where he receivedextensive experience inorthognathic procedures, implant therapy and bone grafting, as well as dentoalveolar surgery,infections, dentoalveolar defects, and maxillofacial trauma.

Ansari was very nice and knowledgeable. He extracted my top back tooth very quickly and with no pain. Highly recommend. Not to mention they also were able to get me in the same day so I wasn't in pain all weekend.

They took such a difficult situation and made me feel so comfortable. They truly care about me and made me feel so comfortable! I highly recommend Dr. Ansari and his incredible staff!!! I was referred to Dr Ansari by my own doctor for an issue I had in my mouth. I went there to have it checked out. I didn't have to wait too long. The ladies there were very nice, and Dr Ansari was professional and pleasant. He identified what it was, and offered to do the procedure needed during that appointment if I wanted. I thought I was going to have to come back for another appointment, so that impressed me and made me very happy. He came back and did the procedure. They made me comfortable and let me know what was going on, and it was quicker than I thought it would be. They sent me home with what was needed. It has been about 5 weeks since then, and everything healed up nicely. So I had a very pleasant experience, and would recommend them to anyone.

I have done the extraction of two wisdom teeth at Doctor Ansari. The extraction has been fast and painless (done with local anesthesia), and I have suffered minimal pain just on the same day, when the anesthesia went away. No need to use painkillers. The gum is healing without any issue.

Upon arrival the office staff processed me efficiently and with very good personal warmth. Dr. Ansari was quick to greet me and evaluate the x-rays. He then deftly and skillfully administered a numbing agent. Shortly after, he proceeded with the procedure which involved a tooth extraction. That went quickly and painlessly. Staff then gave me various incidentals (prescription, bottled water, some yogurt, etc.) and I was on my way. Could not have been treated better or more professionally. Great people!

The team was great. I healed wonderfully. I would highly recommend Dr Ansari. He is very understanding and patient to answer your questions. Only thing I would say needs work is getting the patient the medication scripts before the patient has surgery. Mine came in the mail after the fact.

My 9-year-old son had 5 teeth pulled by Dr. Ansari last month and I came in a few weeks later to have one of my molars removed. We both had a great experience. The staff is cheerful, efficient and informative, and worked to create a relaxing, calming environment. Dr. Ansari did a very nice job with my son; his mouth healed quickly and he was back to his old self in no time. During his surgery, the attending nurses got a genuine kick out of his stream-of-consciousness chatter and questions; weeks later, when I returned for my surgery, they told me how much they enjoyed him. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would recommend Dr. Ansari to anyone.
