Your estimated patient portion, or co-pay, must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill your insurance for the services rendered. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to help.
Chelsea Jasper Anderson, D.M.D. joined our dental practice in 2018. As the daughter of Dr. Michele Jasper, she has been around dentistry all of her life.She attended Furman University in Greenville, SC and graduatedwith a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She then went onto the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC for dental school and earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.Dr. Anderson graduated in the top of her class at MUSC andwas selected to be part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society upon graduation. She was also awarded the American Academy of Periodontology Award for Outstanding Achievement in Periodontics.
Dr. Anderson has a special interest in giving back to the community. In college, she spent time volunteering as a dental assistant in the Greenville Free Dental Clinic and was active in raising money for the Operation Smile organization. In dental school, Dr. Anderson volunteered at the North Charleston Dental Outreach Clinic. Currently, she serves as an officer for the South Carolina Tri-County Dental Association and helps to coordinate the Cleft Out 5K Race held annually in Charlotte, NC. Like Dr. Jasper, she has also served as a clinical instructor at York Technical College School of Dental Hygiene. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the South Carolina Dental Association.
Dr. Anderson was born and raised in Fort Mill, SC and is excited to settle down in her hometownwith her husband, Ed, who is an attorney in Rock Hill. The two of them are avid sports fans... college football, NFL, MLB, you name it! Dr. Anderson just welcomed her first child, George, making her a first-time mom and Dr. Jasper a first-time grandmother!
Dr. Amanda Curlinjoined the Jasper Dentistry team in October2020. Before Dr. Curlin became a dentist, she attended University of North Carolina-Wilmington, was a member of the Honors program and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree. While in undergrad, Dr. Curlin completed research in an organic chemistry lab and was awarded a summer externship with GlakoSmithKlein. While teaching and working during her undergraduate education, Dr. Curlin would volunteer one to two nights a week for the St. Marys Dental Clinic that served the underserved population of Wilmington, NC. It was at this clinic that she found her love for dentistry and helping those in need.
Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Dr. Curlin went on to The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2017. Dr. Curlin has a love for giving back to those in need. During dental school, Dr. Curlin would volunteer with the Missions of Mercy Dental Clinics and she completed two months of rotations at regional dental clinics in North Carolina that helped underserved populations. Upon graduating dental school, Dr. Curlin moved to New York City and completed a one year hospital based General Practice Residency Program at Saint Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. During her residency program, Dr. Curlin worked alongside and was trained by oral surgeons, periodontists, endodontists and prosthodontists. At the end of her residency, Dr. Curlin was awarded the Resident of The Year Award.
Dr. Curlin grew up in New Bern, North Carolina. After completing her Residency Program in New York, she decided to move back to the Charlotte area to be closer to her family and her two new nephews. She has a love for traveling and enjoys running, hiking, and exploring national parks.
Professionally, Dr. Curlin serves as a current member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Curlin enjoys caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Due to her advanced residency training, she feels comfortable in all realms of dentistry including dental implants, extractions, root canal therapy, tooth colored fillings, dental crowns, dentures, and more.
