Jasper County Family Dentistry is located in the historic Mixon Home. We strive to create and maintain a homey, welcoming environment, for we understand a dental visit can be a real source of anxiety. We know that a positive, comfortable environment is best to support good outcomes and good healing.
After graduating from Plano Senior High in 1992, Vince Sessions enlisted in the US Marine Corps to earn money for college, serving in both the security forces and in the infantry. He began his college career in 1996 at Collin County Community College and graduated with his BS in biology (emphasizing molecular and cell biology) from the University of Texas at Dallas just three years later.
Through the influence of his father, John Sessions, DO, Dr. Vince has always held nontraditional views of medicine and dentistry and how they interrelate in the overall well-being of the patient. So upon his graduation from dental school, he committed himself to providing holistic dental care for the whole family in a relaxed, comfortable environment. His focus has been on mercury-free restoration of his patients smiles with in a way that supports their whole body health.
Dr. Sessions lives on a small family farm with his wife and two children, where they raise chickens, Nubian milk goats, black Brangus beef cattle, and a small garden. His interests include small farm sustainability, organic farming/ gardening, cooking, spending time with his wife and children.

Doctor Sessions discovered a root canal that was infected I had them pulled and since had a partial put in, I am very pleased with this...fits perfectly, I thank Dr Sessions and his staff for the professionalism and work with excellence! Biological dentistry is the only way to go!!!

Very knowledgeable, compassionate, holistic dentist, right here in southeastTexas. I needed a failed root canal removed, and wanted it done by a biological dentist. I thought I would have to travel to Houston, but was very happy to find a biological dentist close to home. Dr. Sessions followed all of the proper protocols to remove a root canal, and it healed very fast.

Kathy, the receptionist is the first person I spoke with. Very personable and helpful. She goes out of her way to help me and, from what I've observed, others also. Heather and Rachel are the dental hygienists/assistants who were also extremely helpful and compassionate! I have a low tolerance for pain with extremely sensitive teeth. They both make sure my comfort is priority while doing an exceptional job on my teeth. Then there's Dr. Sessions. Love this man. He takes all the time that's necessary to explain procedures. He doesn't tell me what I NEED to do, but makes me aware of every option, whether it's done by him or another specialist. Everything is discussed so I can make an informed decision without being rushed out the office. Obviously, I can't say enough about the people in this office. (And I, like others, don't like going to the dentist, even though I had 2 uncles that were dentist!). Hope this helps!

After being a cash pay patient several years with Dr Sessions I finally obtained company insurance. I then saw the care stepped up somewhat in the actual way I was provided and a friendly front was provided although I still paid cash upon checking out even with insurance. I've returned in person twice more to correct an issue with my insurance provider. It's now been over 3 months since my original insured visit and I've still not been reimbursed for the coverage. I also don't appreciate asking for Kathy as she had been handling this both on the phone and in person but this last time I came in I was informed she was busy yet 2 minutes later she walked out to get the delivery that came in ahead of me. Y'all are rude and unprofessional and if the claim has been filed and no check sent I will be having my attorney reach you. God Bless.

Dr. Sessions is a gifted dentist. I was pleased with his knowledge of biological dentistry and it's application benifits for me. His consideration to my general health in this respect was most appreciated. Will see him again soon.

Dr Sessions and his team are amazing. He follows the most up to date procedures for biological dentistry and is much more affordable than the other dentists I received quotes from. He completed my first cavitation surgery and while I was visiting Houston from Montana I made the drive to get the rest of them addressed. He really cares for his patients and called me after both surgeries to see how I was doing. I would not hesitate to reccomend him to anyone.

I feel so blessed today.. most people don't leave a Dentist office smiling.. but I did today.. i had a broken tooth and a Wisdom Tooth right next to each other that needed to come out.. I am extremely scared of dentist.. I cry and get anxiety just thinking of going.. Dr Session and Heather were so supportive. He Discussed my fears and communicated very well with me..He work through my anxiety.. he pulled my teeth like they were coming out of butter. I can't even describe how lucky I feel right know.. Glory to God for working out all the details and putting the right person in my life that lead me to Dr Vince Session and his team at Jasper Country Family Dentistry. Thank you!!

After driving 2 hours, my wife had to wait another 2 hours for her scheduled appointment. The dentist may be a very knowledgeable and even a skilled dentist, but he made a very unprofessional and inappropriate comment so we asked for a refund for our $400 visit (no dental work was done). He refused to give a refund, but we will never go back. Don't recommend to anyone. Unprofessional. Office was dirty too.

I consider myself kind of a hard patient. I had an extremely horrible experience with a dentist at 16, and I've neglected my teeth since then. Im 46 now. About a year ago, I had an abscess. I was so scared to go to the dentist, but the infection was so bad, that my bottom lip was going numb. Well, let me tell you what, this man sat down and literally had a therapy session with me. He let me get out everything that happened on that awful day when I was 16. He assured me that he does not, and will not ever treat someone that way. Reluctantly, I trusted him. I'm so glad I did!! He is amazing!! So gentle, and compassionate!! I love him so much, that he is out of network with my insurance and I don't care. I will just pay the extra for the care I get!! I highly recommend this dental office!!
