If I could give zero stars I would! First off the Barbara lady is rude , most of the time jas no idea what she's talking about treats u like trash raises her voice and lies. Last hangs up the phone on you. I had a cleaning done under the assumption it would be a gentle cleaning oh no! The lady cut my gums ten ways from Sunday and was only able to do the bottom part of my mouth because it was so painful. I visited another office right after (same day) they informed me it was not normal to have huge gashes and cuts in my gums that big for a pario maintenance cleaning. Further more the dr peterson guy is rude as well does not make u feel comfortable..he also shakes to high heaven (his hands) very very badly. Not sure how he can still practice with hands that shake like that. When he was checking my gums he gouged the tool way deep and caused massive pain as well. I do not recommend this place to anyone! Ever! Do yourself a favor and seek a diff office. You won't regret it.

Actually, zero stars for this quack who missed a raging infection, wasted 2 months on useless steroid treatment, didn't even take an x-ray, cancelled an appt they set for a biopsy even though I told them condition was worsening, then wanted me to wait another 6 weeks. Am now having oral surgery & antibiotic treatment for what this quack missed. Oral surgeon's office was stunned quack didn't even do an x-ray, which would have shown infection & damage it was doing. Front desk will try to smooth talk you that they will take care of you; that's a lie.

A patient experience is a mix of technical and personal. From a technical standpoint Dr. Peterson treated me successfully and with literally zero pain. (I have no anxiety about dental treatments, but there's often at least injection pain. Not with Dr. Peterson who was masterful.) From a personal standpoint every person there is as nice as you could imagine--even on an Idaho nice scale. I hope never to need treatment again, but if I did I'd definitely choose this office. Oh, and both visits (initial treatment and follow-up) were not only on-time but early. In fact, for the follow-up appointment I was leaving his office even before my scheduled time. They run an efficient operation.

This rating is kind of a hit and miss when it comes to gum graphing. Dentist was not very welcoming. First impressions, well, no compassion, before procedure and aftercare. I requested the laughing gas due to my extreme anxiety. I asked the dental assistant if she could turn up the gas, in which she said, "no". No relief for my anxiety. He called in a mild Tylenol prescription which my insurance did not cover it. I called the Dr to ask for a different prescription. Rudely said, "I don't know what your insurance will pay for." Which I could understand however, the tone of voice I found kind of rude. The at home instructions were basically your rights as a patient. Not home care, hygiene or when to call the office for anything that would be concerning concerning. The front desk staff was very friendly though. They were able to get me in within a week, due to circumstances. I'm going to need a "touch up," on the procedure $$. Hopefully this time it is a better result, to say the least. With all this said it makes it hard for me to say how many stars for reviews.

I've been going to Dr Peterson since I was discovered to have periodontitis. I received my initial treatment and, with regular checkups, I now have healthy gums. They are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.

I am so happy with my experience with Doctor Peterson and his wonderful staff! I went in for a periodontal deep cleaning, It's not often fun having procedures done on your mouth but these guys go above and beyond. They kept me very informed the entire process, and took very good care of me. I highly recommend them and am grateful to have access to such a knowledgeable and professional team here in Jackson!

Best service and best price! I've had several gum graft consultations. Not only did Dr. Peterson do my grafts cheaper than the other guys would, he also fixed a gum graft that another guy actually did. I couldn't recommend him more! It's not often that price and quality cross paths in the not-so-transparent medical world. You know it's a great place the first time you schedule an appointment: Jan and Barb, his receptionists, are the friendliest ladies I have ever talked to!

I'm so happy that I went to DDS Peterson. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the DDS Peterson is wonderful. I had a hole in my gums from a tooth infection, not an easy fix. They were kind and understanding of the fact that I was nervous and scared..They made my smile return to me. Thank you

Just visited Dr Peterson for the 1st time absolutely phenomenal experience. The staff is friendly and very welcoming when you come in the office. His assistant was kind and explained the procedure well. Dr. Peterson is kind , knowledgable, and very caring. Checked on me throughout graft procedure. I cannot say enough good about my experience today! Highly recommend seeing Dr. Peterson for your periodontal needs.

The staff in front office was welcoming and on top of scheduling and office flow. Dr. Peterson was excellent in his care, and informative as he went along to be sure I understood the procedure. His assistant was also wonderful. Local anesthetic made it totally pain free, with no discomfort after going home. Could recommend Dr. Peterson and staff very highly, and plan on having additional procedures there.
