Dr. Baldwin offers 3-D CT scanning to allow for more accuracy and efficiency. Dr. Baldwin is also a certified CEREC provider thereby offering a patient in need of a crown, inlay, or onlay to have a digital scan of the tooth done and a tooth created all in the same visit.
Dr. Jason Baldwin is a graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. In 2004 he joined the family practice in San Jose, CA, started by his father, Dr. Jay Baldwin. Dr. Baldwin continued his fathers legacy by building a state-of-the-art practice, specializing in advanced dental technology. Dr. Baldwin is reminded daily of his immense gratitude for the 15 years he practiced in the Bay Area and the amazing patients that entrusted him with their care.
In 2018, Dr. Baldwin and his family decided to fulfill their dream of living in beautiful Lake Tahoe. The LANAP surgery is completed in 2 visits, each lasting about 2 hours. Using a local anesthetic or dental sedation, Dr. Baldwin will treat one side of the mouth during each session. If splints are placed to secure loose teeth, we will provide care instructions for oral hygiene and diet restrictions. Most patients will experience only minor discomfort on the first day and mild swelling or discoloration of treated gum tissue. A soft diet is often recommended during the first few days.
