Dr. David Stern achieved his BA in History from the University of Maryland at College Park and went on to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he achieved his DDS degree. He received advanced education in general dentistry from the University of Maryland and is a current member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implantology, Maryland State Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Part of what Dr. Stern loves about being a dentist is that he can develop long-term, meaningful relationships with his patients while providing them with the tools they need to achieve optimum oral health.
Michelle is one of our dental hygienists. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from UMAB. She enjoys spending time with her two children, watching them play sports and attending their orchestra concerts. They also have two cats, two guinea pigs, five fish, and one aquatic frog.
Lela is one of our Dental Hygienists. She earned her bachelors of science at UMAB. Lela is married with 3 children, 1 granddaughter and 2 dogs. In her free time Lela enjoys spending time with her family, vacationing at the beach, volunteering with her Girl Scout troop and cross stitching.
Dawn is the Patient Care Coordinator and does many different jobs for the office. She went to Dental Assistant school in 2010 and has been in the dental field for over 7 years. She has two amazing kids and loves watching them play soccer all year round. She enjoys living the country life. She also loves spending time with family, the outdoors, and traveling to the mountains and to the beach.
Lauren is one of our dental assistants. She went to dental assistant school in 2015 and has been in the dental field for 5 years. Lauren has an handsome 8 year old boy. She enjoys showing horses, working on the farm and camping in her free time.

I can't say enough about how quickly I was able get in and treated even though I was a new patient. Dr. Stern and his staff are fantastic! I wrongly assumed such a small practice would not have state of the art equipment, but I was wrong. I found my new dentist!

I began my plan with Dr Stern a year ago. I had 2 implants put in and a bridge on my top left side. He was precise and he was gentle durning the process. We then moved on to the right top side, replacing a 20 year old bridge, again I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. The color matches perfectly and my smile was getting there. We then moved on to the bottom. 1 more implant and a parcel that fit perfectly. I didn't mind the time it took, for I was paying as I went. It was affordable and I can't express how wonderful it is to chew everything from almonds to steak dinners. The staff is awesome! I work a lot of hours and scheduling was never a problem. He always checks in on me after each procedure to assure I am doing well. I like getting the texts confirming my appointments and cleaning. Over all it was a wonderful and blessed experience with Dr Stern and his associates. Thank you for all your time and patience as I completed my healthy Smile! Cindy

From the time I arrived until the time I left, every member of Jarrettsville Family Dental was not only very professional but welcoming. I received excellent care and information concerning my oral health. I truly felt as if I was all ready a member of their patient family. This was my very 1st visit to their practice. I was extremely impressed with the quality of care as well as the way every single staff member was so warm and compassionate. A great experience!

Dr. Stern's staff is great! It was grest to meet the new hygienist and dental assistant. TheEveryone is caring and uplifting. They truly love their work. This is because they have a great role model in Dr. Stern. I had my teeth cleaned by Lela today. Thank you forvmaking me feel zt ease since Michele used to cleany teeth. You were great.
