At Jarosz & Valente Orthodontics, our mission is simple: help each and every one of our patients achieve a smile they're genuinely proud to show off, no matter what the situation. As a leading orthodontic practice serving Deerfield, Arlington Heights, and the surrounding areas, we offer a wide range of orthodontic treatments, and we strive to make treatment fit into even the busiest of lifestyles. Whether you're straightening your teeth with metal or clear braces, ClearCorrect clear aligners, or any other orthodontic treatment we offer, our two orthodontists will work closely with you to help you achieve your dream smile and ensure the treatment process runs as smooth as possible.
Dr. Jerry Jarosz has been in orthodontic practice for more than 20 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University. He continued at Northwestern University where he received his dental degree and a certificate in orthodontics. In conjunction with his orthodontic training, Dr. Jarosz received a masters degree in science. Dr. Jarosz has served on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Society of Orthodontists and was the 2008-2009 president. Dr. Jarosz was published in the March 2014 edition of Inside Dentistry on the subject of dental trauma and orthodontics rehabilitation.
Dr. Rudy Valente has been in orthodontic practice and with Dr. Jarosz since 2001. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Valente earned his dental degree and received his certificate in orthodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry. In conjunction with his residency, Dr. Valente also received a Master of Science degree in Oral Sciences for his research with orthodontic bonding agents, which has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
In his free time, Dr. Valente enjoys spending time with his family, music, tennis and martial arts. In addition to taking excellent care of children and adolescents, Drs. Jarosz and Valente have also taken courses at Spear Institute, The Pankey Institute and Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education and are well-versed in adult interdisciplinary dental rehabilitation.
Both Drs. Jarosz and Valente are Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. The doctors are active members of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society and the Illinois Society of Orthodontists.
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is highly skilled, well trained and strives to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient! Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience treating patients with the highest level of care. To stay abreast of the latest technologies and advancements, our doctors and staff regularly attend continuing education courses.
Bonnie K. has been with our practice for 10 years and handles all aspects of our busy front desk. As our Financial/Insurance Specialist, she helps you maximize your insurance benefits. Bonnie enjoys reading and traveling to visit family and friends.
With 20 years of orthodontic experience, Carmen has been with our practice for 18 years. She is a Clinical Assistant and calculates an orthodontic analysis for each patient to aid the doctors in designing the treatment plan. Carmen enjoys photography, traveling and spending time with her family.
Margie has 15 years of experience in orthodontics and has been with our practice for 12 years. She is our Clinical Coordinator, ensuring that everything runs smoothly in the clinic on a daily basis. She is also our Lab Technician. In her free time, Margie enjoys baking and traveling with her family.
Amy has been with our practice for 7 years, having 20 years of experience in orthodontics. She is our Web Coordinator and has been a key asset during the creation of our new website. Amy is also a Clinical Assistant. She enjoys live music, sporting events and riding her mountain bike.
Jean has been with our practice for 35 years and has performed many different duties. Currently she is in charge of ordering clinical supplies, and she oversees documentation of patient statistics. Jean enjoys her work in our office and likes spending her leisure time keeping up with family and friends.

Great. Very professional and knowledgeable practice. After having two children receive their braces from a different practice in Arlington Heights, I was unsatisfied with the results and level of customer service - so I switched to Dr. Valente based in the suggestion of several friends for my two other children. Couldn't have been happier with results. My wife even decided to get a minor correction done with Dr Valente. This is strange to say of an orthodontist, but Valente's practice is a tremendous value. Quality of results of my two youngest was superior to other ortho we had used.

We just had the last of our two boys complete his braces (I also had a clear aligner for myself) with Dr. Valente and the results and experience could not have been better. After moving to South Barrington, without hesitation, we continued to make the 30 minute drive to the Arlington Heights office for each additional appointment. Our relationship began because of a recommendation about the practice being honest and much to our surprise, the first consultation resulted in us being told we should wait until my son's teeth were more developed before starting with braces...nobody turns you away and thinks they will be guaranteed to get your business at a later date. It takes integrity and confidence to make that part of your business model. Kudos to them.

My kids owe their beautiful smiles to Dr. Jarosz and Dr. Valente. These doctors are highly skilled and they did a great job keeping me informed and updated during the process. The entire staff was friendly, easy to work with and always welcoming. My kids were made comfortable by the office environment and bedside manner of the doctors. If you want your kids to have beautiful smiles they will enjoy for a lifetime, I would highly recommend this practice!

Looking for a beautiful and pristine smile? Jarosz & Valente Orthodontics offer superb work that will not disappoint! I traveled an hour each way to see Dr. Jarosz as my orthodontist over the course of two years and it was well worth the drive! He is very professional and provides explanation of all treatments performed. Dr. Jarosz's perfection is evident by the numerous comments I receive about my new smile. The office staff is welcoming and attends to your needs as soon as you walk through the door. Highly recommend Dr. Jarosz and his staff!!

We used Dr. Jarosz and Valente Orthodontics for both of our children. We began services at another practice and were not satisfied and looked elsewhere. We moved to Dr. Jarosz upon recommendations of others in the area and could not have been happier with the services provided by Dr. Jarosz as well has the entire practice. The office staff is extremely accommodating and could not be friendlier. The care provided before and after treatment was completed went above and beyond our expectations. Doctors are very good, they take their time to make sure everything is perfect. As well as go the extra mile if they need to do treatment that may not be the typical treatment.My daughters treatment did not take too long, 2.5 years. The whole staff is very knowledgeable and attentive to the patients.
