A lifelong native of NW Oklahoma, Dr. Oister grew up in Ames, just 45 miles south of Cherokee. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Biological Sciences before pursuing her dental education at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Additionally, she earned a Fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), by completing 500 hours of continuing education focused on cosmetics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics.

Over two decades ago, Dr. Oister took over the recently vacated dental practice in Cherokee, and her husband, Glenn, accepted a position as a deputy in the Alfalfa County Sheriffs Office. Since then, theyve had two children, a son, Benjamin and a daughter, Baylee, who keep Dr. Oister and her husband busy with school events, sports, 4H, rodeos and church activities. They also love spending time together outdoors, especially working and playing at the farm, riding horses and water and boating sports. It was Dr. Oisters love of working with people and her interest in the medical field that led her to a career in dentistry. She has always had a particular interest in the aesthetic and artistic sides of her work, and she takes great pleasure in making her patients smiles absolutely beautiful through her training and experience in orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. She would love to work with you!

A long-time veteran of the dental field, Angela started as a part time general business employee and then went to the clinical side as an Assistant for a short period of time. She was then 'inherited' by Dr. Jana Oister as Office Manager, where she remains today!

Angela enjoys the everyday challenges of dealing with your insurance and the gratification of knowing that all monies due to you have been collected. She believes she works with one of the most competent and friendly teams in the dental field and she knows Dr. Oister is unsurpassed in restorative, cosmetic and orthodontic treatment. Angela's goal as a member of the dental team is to treat you as she would want her own family treated and to make your time spent in the office pleasant, educational and comfortable.

Angela lives on a farm in Burlington with her husband of over 33 years. She has three grown children and four wonderful grandchildren, all of which see Dr. Oister. Angela would like to welcome you to the dental family!

Alley is a Certified Dental Assistant. She was born in Wray, CO and lived in Yuma, CO for a few years. When she was three years old, she moved to Cherokee and has been here since. She considers herself a true Oklahoman!

Alley was intrigued by dentistry when she was very little, though she did not have the most healthy teeth. After going to three different dentists and not feeling very comfortable - she came to this office and loved the team and Dr. Oister. They made her feel at home and safe. The experience of visiting several offices and wishing for a higher level of courtesy and care is what pulled her heart toward the dental field. She has enjoyed every minute of her time with Dr. Oister, because the team consists of such a great group of girls!

Alley's favorite thing about being in the dental field is patients like you. She thinks it's awesome to get the opportunity to talk to patients one on one. When she sees someone come in with a very slight smile and leave with the confidence in themselves to smile as big as they can, it makes her day!

A Registered Dental Hygienist, Keena became interested in the dental field when she had her wisdom teeth removed during college. She graduated from Wichita State University and has worked for Dr. Oister for more than two decades. Her favorite things about the job are getting to know and visit with a wide variety of people and making them feel comfortable in Dr. Oister's practice. Keena and her husband enjoy traveling to the mountains and to the lake. She is a cat lover and NASCAR fan!

Molly loves being a Dental Assistant at Dr. Oister's office. She grew up and lives in Cherokee. She first encountered Dr. Oister in high school, when she had a work-study class her senior year where she chose to come to Dr. Oister's office to observe.

Molly feels truly blessed to have such a wonderful team to work beside. She enjoys the interaction with patients and loves helping them have a healthier, happy smile. She married her high school sweetheart in 2006 they have two children. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her kids and family. She's thankful for all the blessings God has given her!

Bobbie is a long time member of Dr. Oister's team as a Dental Assistant. She loves working with smiles! She finds it exciting to see what a difference a smile can make, on both the young and old, and even the in-betweeners!

Bobbie has been married for over 42 years to Jan Jewell. They live on a small family farm in Byron, OK, population 52! They have two wonderful sons, Justin and Chace, and each are married to wonderful girls, which are now her daughters! They also have four beautiful grandchildren - three boys, all brothers, and one new little girl - that just happen to be the light of her life!

Before starting in dentistry, Bobbie was a beautician for about 15 years. One day a team member of Dr. Oister 's approached her about working at her office. She was reluctant at first, calling herself, 'an old blonde who knows nothing about teeth,' but the rest is history. It was also Dr. Oister who gave Bobbie her beautiful smile!!
