Jana states that the best part of her practice is her wonderful team and the great patients. She takes pride in developing a relationship with the patients that fosters oral health. Jana believes that oral health is vital to overall health. She is focused on enabling patients to achieve and maintain a healthy mouth. She is actively involved in organized dentistry and the national practice based research network. Transplanted from Hawaii, she enjoys the Colorado outdoors - Biking, Hiking and, Skiing with her husband and two teenagers.
Tera graduated from the CU School of Dental Medicine with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2009. She has worked with Jana for many years, and truly enjoys the intimate office and wonderful patients. She enjoys hiking and traveling with her four daughters.
Arlene was born in the Dominican Republic, and has lived in Colorado for the past 28 years. Arlene has known and worked with Jana since 1992. She enjoys working with our wonderful team of dedicated professionals, and the great patients in our practice. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband Victor and their two children, Arlene and Victor.
Katie has been Jana's assistant since 2007. She really enjoys working with Jana and the excellent team the office has become. She feels privileged to be a part of such a caring practice with wonderful patients. Outside of work Katie and her family enjoy vacations to tropical locations. She also enjoys hiking in the beautiful mountains, boating at Lake McConaughyin Nebraska, as well as any other outside adventures with her husband Mike, their children Korben and Makenna and fur-baby Archer.
Ashley has a long-standing passion for excellent patient care. She began her dental career as a dental and oral surgery assistant in 2008, then later graduated from dental hygiene school in 2014. She is a Colorado native who loves to spend her time with her teenage son and French bulldog. She especially loves working out, exploring the Rocky Mountains and traveling.

I moved my whole family of five here, with our youngest being eight years old. Everyone is friendly, professional and goes above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable as well as educate them about dental care.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Ikeda for almost 9 years. She is smart, patient and thoughtful. Her staff is fantastic and great to work with. We will continue to recommend her to family and friends.

Totally professional and comprehensive service, with helpful play-by-play on the ongoing procedures. Also detailed suggestions provided for optimizing dental health in between appointments. Extremely friendly staff !

I want to share my deep gratitude for Dr. Ikeda's dedication to her patients. When C-19 was at its height and dentists couldn't see patients, I had real bad gum pain. I called the office mid-morning and Dr. Ikeda offered to come in that day and make a special trip just for me! She is always very warm, professional and caring and she goes way above and beyond normal health and dental standards. For instance, they are only required to have 15 minutes between patients for C-19 protocols, but she's made it an hour between patients even though it cuts their income a lot, because she puts patient safety above even her and her staff's need for income. How dedicated is that?!!! If you want a dentist that exceeds expectations in care, service, and truly putting her patients first, come see Dr. Ikeda and her outstanding staff! I also have to HIGHLY commend Ashley T., the hygienist. I have a couple places in my gums where it's super painful for them to be worked on. Ashley tried a numbing gel the previous visit, but due to my allergies, it made me cough a lot. I was dreading the next visit and I thought about asking for novacaine, but thought it would cost too much. Before I even brought this up in my next visit, Ashley had another idea of a topical we could use and I told her I'd thought of novacaine but feared the cost, and she said they don't charge for it! I could have wept tears of joy at the relief I felt and how the cleaning of those areas was totally pain free. She heartily thanked me for talking with her to help make my care more comfortable for me and better for her to really clean deeply. When I flossed the next morning there was no bad odor on the floss as I'd had the month prior. Ashley is very heartful, knowledgeable and caring! She and Dr. Ikeda gave me gum brushes and made recommendations that have improved my gum health.

Dr. Ikeda is the best dentist I've ever had. She's got a wonderful office staff, as well as highly experienced and attentive hygienists and dental assistants. But she's the best of all. She explains everything in detail and will show you pictures to illustrate exactly what's going on. She takes her time with each patient, and her experience and professionalism are unmatched!

First of all, I drive from Aurora to Boulder for Jana and her staff. I've been a patient for 6 years. That should tell you something. Absolutely incredible as always. From check in to check out, there is no detail overlooked. The cleaning is always incredibly thorough; both the hygienists and dentist always take their time in answering any questions I have. They have fit me in when I've had an emergency and are always willing to work with me. The team is so cohesive and so skilled - some of them have been with Jana for over 10 years. I can't stress how incredible this office is - please just go see for yourself!
