Dr. Jamila Miller is native of Indianapolis, Indiana and has practiced prosthodontics and general dentistry in Munster, IN since 2008. A prosthodontist is a dental specialist with three years of specialized training in esthetic/cosmetic dentistry, restorative/reconstructive dentistry, and implant dentistry at an accredited school. Additionally she continues to learn new techniques with annual continuing education courses.
During her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. She enjoys reading and is usually working on at least two books at a time. Dr. Miller also enjoys helping those less fortunate and has traveled to Liberia, Guyana, and Jamaica.
Nicole is our lead dental assistant. Nicole joined our team June 2014. Her job is making sure that Dr. Miller can work smoothly and efficiently. One of the things she enjoys most about dentistry is to see how changing a patients smile transforms their lives. Nicole is here to help calm fears and answer questions. Nicole helps make treatment easy in a soothing environment that is pleasant for our patients. She is currently working towards her radiology certificate. In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her daughter Ariana and being outdoors.

Dr. Miller has 16 years of experience. As a prosthodontist, she is specially trained in cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry. Not only does she deliver every service with careful expertise, she is also kind, caring, and dedicated to her patients. Whether your are in need of a simple treatment or a more complex procedure, you will be in good hands.

We will explain treatments options in a way that is easy to understand and together select the best course of action to meet your individual needs based on Dr. Millers clinical findings. The implant process begins when a metal post is surgically positioned into the jaw. This post will act as a permanent root for the implanted tooth. Once it is in place, the surrounding bone and tissue needs time to heal.
A dental implant is an ideal tooth restoration for people who are missing one or more teeth. While implants are typically more expensive than other methods of tooth replacement, they provide superior benefits. Implants are stronger than natural teeth and last many years. They are also a more favorable approach than bridgework, because they do not depend on neighboring teeth for support.

Dr. Miller and her team are wonderful to work with! She came highly recommended and is working in conjunction with our general dentist and our orthodontist for a comprehensive treatment plan for my daughter. Dr. Miller provides specialized care. She's very knowledgeable and practices the latest techniques via a variety of services to improve her patients' overall quality of life. Her staff are not only friendly and compassionate they are timely and efficient! Overall they're a great team of people. I have been a patient for over 10 years and I'm quite satisfied.

Dr. Miller is very knowledgeable in her field. She is also very professional as well as personable. Those same traits carry over to her staff. Every time I visit her office I'm greeted with smiles (behind the masks ) and a genuine "How are you today?". You can feel how much they care. I didn't think I'd ever be this comfortable going to the dentist, but Dr. Miller has a way of alleviating the anxiety. She and her team are absolutely awesome!

Dr. Miller and her team create a great experience. From the time you come in the door, there are friendly faces and a comfortable setting. Dr. Miller is far and away the most competent dentist with whom I have ever consulted. Although my teeth are perfect from a cosmetic standpoint, Dr. Miller is my regular family dentist. Since beginning to see her, I have improved the health of my gums and enamel.
