Jamieson & Fulks Orthodontics is synonymous with orthodontics in the Upper Peninsula, providing orthodontic care in the area since 1978. For both Dr. Jeff Jamieson and Dr. Brent Fulks, orthodontics is part of the family. Dr. Jeff Jamieson is a third generation orthodontist, following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Scott Jamieson, and grandfather Dr Douglas Jamieson. Dr. Brent Fulks also took over the family business from his father Dr. Alan Fulks, who recently retired after practicing orthodontics for over 42 years.
At Jamieson & Fulks Orthodontics, our goal is to make you feel like family. We strive to provide the best care, utilizing the latest in orthodontic technology, in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Our office takes pride in using all digital X-rays, all digital impressions (No goopy stuff!), and 3D printing technology. This allows us to provide exceptional care by creating a customized, digital treatment plan for each patient. We offer a wide variety of orthodontic services, from early intervention treatment with maxillary expanders, to traditional braces and clear aligners. We treat all ages, and will find a treatment modality that works for you.
Dr. Jeff was born and raised in Marquette, Michigan. Following his graduation from St. Norbert College with a bachelors degree in science, he went on to dental school at Marquette University where he was awarded his D.D.S. He then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center to further his dental training. He then achieved his orthodontic specialty education at the University of Detroit-Mercy where he received a masters in science degree as well as his Certicate in Orthodontics.
Upon completion of his orthodontic training, Dr. Jeff moved back home and started working with his father in 2009. Soon after, he completed his board certication through the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Brent is from the Upper Peninsula, growing up in Iron Mountain, Michigan. After graduating from Kingsford High School in 2003, he went to college at Michigan State University, earning a BS in Physiology and graduating with high honors. He attended the University of Michigan for his dental degree, graduating in 2012. Dr. Brent was inducted into the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon for being in the top 10% of his dental school class. He continued his education at the University of Michigan, earning a Masters in Science and Certificate in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Brent is always interested in the latest orthodontic research, and strongly believes in evidence-based practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. After graduating from his residency in 2015, Dr. Brent and his wife moved back to the Upper Peninsula.
Dr. Brent, his wife Molly and son Arthur enjoy all things outdoors, including hiking, biking, skiing, gardening, fishing and especially spending time at the family camp. Dr. Brent is involved with the Dickinson Trail Network as the treasurer of the organization. The Fulks family enjoys exploring all of the natural wonders throughout the Upper Peninsula, and are thankful to call it home.

Sent me to debt collector for a peice of molded plastic retainer that were barely pushing my tooth back in whoever made it did a poor job and I told the office I'm going through a buncha stuff so money is tight but you'll get it because I was going to get, legit clear teeth retainers that don't make u talk weird, since my retirement check is going up I misewell pay for real, invisalines instead of these cheap made plastic ones that barely work so since I'm in debt collection I won't ever pay this office back and y'all can just ban me this office will go outta business now that I'm gonna savatage their absurd greed wit their cheap 25 plastic retainers thay barely fit

They did a good job on the braces and retainer, my teeth are nice and straight. I was not thrilled to find notes in the my file that were....interesting to say the least. I since lost the photograph when changing phones but it essentially accused my family of stealing and being deadbeats. None of which is even remotely true. I found this deeply upsetting, unprofessional and inappropriate. I got in touch with the people that oversee this kind of stuff and they said it is not appropriate as well. I can't even tell you how disappointed I was.

I was always afraid of getting braces, but Jamieson orthodontics made my experience fun. I loved my braces and going in for appointments. They are all so kind and make you feel welcomed in every way possible. They always made sure I had the supplies I needed and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend Jamieson orthotics, I promise that your experience will be nothing but amazing. They are truly phenomenal and outstanding.

I recently moved to Marquette with my husband for his job and our 2 year old goldendoodle got ahold of my retainers. I called on Wednesday knowing they probably couldnt get me in before the weekend but to my surprise they were able to get me in the next day and had new retainers made that same afternoon! All the staff was very friendly and answered any questions I had. Great customer service!
