A graduate of the University of California, San Diego and the University of the Pacific Dental School with high honors, Dr. Sands is certified by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontists, and the American Academy of Dentists and has taught at the USC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sands completed additional studies to specialize in TMJ and occlusion, including a one-year residency in occlusion (understanding and diagnosing bite issues) in Texas. In addition to her specialized understanding of occlusion and aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Sands remains abreast of all current and upcoming practices and techniques, continuously expanding her knowledge and areas of expertise via hundreds of hours of CE a year.
Dr. Sands has shared her expertise on CNN, Fox 11 Los Angeles, The Doctors, and programs on the E! Entertainment Television Network. She has also been named one of LAs Top Dentists by Los Angeles Magazine for 5 consecutive years.
Away from the office, Dr. Sands volunteers her services at Care Harbor/LA Free Clinic, the Childrens Dental Center of Greater Los Angeles, MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity), and Give Back A Smile, where she helps domestic violence survivors with cosmetic dentistry. She is also an avid painter, sculptor, yoga practitioner, and marathon runner.

Every visit here I receive exceptional care. It's so relaxing I've drifted off during a cleaning and even while having a couple of crowns done! Highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Jamie Sands and her staff are the best in the business when it comes to dentistry! I am not the biggest fan of the dentist, and have a pretty big fear of going to the the dentist office, but Dr. Sands and her staff made me feel as comfortable as ever. I had a severe infection on a molar of mine, and immediately Dr. Sands redacted all of my pain and basically cured me. It was almost a miracle... or I guess you can say she's pretty darn good at her job. If you are looking for a new dentist, be sure to head over to this office. I'm glad I made the switch

I've never been to a dentist more professional and caring than Dr.Sands. She does amazing work and always makes sure her patients are comfortable through any procedures. Also all her staff are all welcoming and nice and very understanding with any dental fear. Highly recommend!

State of the art office. Very clean and professional. I especially like that they make a whole treatment plan for you at your initial visit so you know what treatment is needed and the cost upfront. The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. The doctor is very knowledgeable and takes the time to educate and walk you through procedures.

I have been going to Dr. Sands for probably close to 15 years. I can't recommend her enough. I have extreme dental phobia and any visit, minor or major is equally as stressful for me. From day one Dr. Sands and her staff have been EXCELLENT in handling my fears. They are patient and caring and will do whatever it takes to get me though each and every appointment. They never make me feel ashamed or silly about it. I went recently, and it had been a while since my last visit, so I was feeling high anxiety. and Two of her newer (to me) assistants, Maggie and Dahlia handled my exam and they were incredible even though it was our first meeting!! I have to shout out Tina and Edith as well... because they have always been incredible. So if you are a patient who experiences major dental anxiety--I know you are out there-- just know that you are in good hands here. Just talk to them and they will get you through. Excellent dentist!!

She is simply the best dentist I have ever been to....period. She is truly an artist who is able to do cosmetic dentistry that only others dream of. Dr. Sands is a perfectionist when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. She did bonding on my teeth and her work is amazing. She is very thorough and takes time consulting with her patients. In addition, she is very thorough when it comes to all aspects of her job. I have gone to her for Invisalign, TMJ, mouth guards and general teeth cleaning. I trust her completely and know that my teeth are in great shape in addition to looking good. She has given me an A+ smile. Also, her staff is very professional and the office is well run. Dr Jamie Sands has the kindest, best staff. I was a little late and they were non judge mental and greeted me so friendly. Then Margarite helped my w my retainers with concern and gentleness. Edith and Sam are of course always lovely and warm. Dr Sands and her entire team are meticulous, gentle and caring. The best dentist in Los Angeles.

If you must go to the dentist (and you must), go to this one! The entire staff is nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They're efficient but don't rush you through. They take the time to answer questions and pay attention to detail. Dr Ryan was super helpful and kind during my recent dental adventures, exploring options and only recommending what was absolutely necessary. Dr Sands is a perfectionist (in a good way) and has guided my Invisalign experience with ease. You can't go wrong with this team. Thank you!
