Dr. Jamharian earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Mexico in 1973. Shortly after graduation he entered the United States Air Force where he served as a C-130 Hercules aircraft navigator. In 1980 he left active duty to pursue a dental education at the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree in 1983 and returned to his home in Albuquerque and began a long and successful private practice career. During these same years Dr. Jamharian felt he had more to offer his country and joined the United States Navy Reserve. He retired from the Naval Reserve in 2001 attaining the rank of Captain, Dental Corps. Dr. Jamharian is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr Jamharian has been in the private practice of Family, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry for over thirty five years in Albuquerque.
MAGD stands for Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning Mastership takes dedication to dental continuing education (CE) beyond graduation. Less than 2 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Masters. Takes me 3 hours drive time to see the doctor. He is well worth it. Meticulous in his work. I thoroughly trust him and his work. Mary (does it all upfront) runs a tight ship. Can count on her. Hygenist is fabulous, as is Jeanette. I will continue to see this group as long as I can get in the car and turn the key.

Dr. Jamharian does another great crown for me! I have been going to Dr. Jamharian's office for over 20 years. Dr. J' and his staff have always been the most professional and thorough for all my treatments I have received anywhere! I just received my 4th crown and it has been nothing less than perfection! Dr. J has so much experience and expertise that when I have been treated by him, He seems like he could perform the procedures in his sleep. I have been going to Dr. Jamharian for over 25 years and have always received excellent care. Dr. Jamharian is a Master of the Academy of Dentistry, a credential awarded to only two percent of dentists in the country. He is extremely skilled, knowledgeable and professional; he takes pride in assuring that this work is of the highest quality. Dr. Jamharian provides you with options and takes the time to answer your questions. He promptly responds to dental emergencies. Dr. Jamharian's staff is always pleasant and caring. Appointments are convenient and the office wait time is minimal. I was surprised to see one-star Google reviews (with no comments) because this is very inconstant with my experience. I wonder if these reviews are based on actual visits to Dr. Jamharian. I suggest you contact him if you have any issues. I'm sure he would do his best to address your concerns.

Doctor Jamharian is a thorough, efficient and conscientious dentist. I can honestly say that while a visit to the dentist has not been the highlight of my day, after my visits with him, I leave with a clearer and more knowledgeable outlook on my dental care and health. I had to have extensive work done and couldn't have asked for better results. My follow up visits all have ended with a detailed explanation of what was done and a clear roadmap of what is to follow, leaving no room for apprehensiveness and doubt of what's to take place. As soon as I'm seated he asks if there's any questions about the exam. This puts me at ease about the exam. He has a great staff, from the front desk to his assistants. They are all very friendly, accessible and professional. I would recommend family, friends and acquaintances to Dr. Jamharian without reservations.

We were visiting family whilst we were in Albuquerque last year, my wife had Terrible pain in one of her teeth. It was a Saturday and although the office was closed, Dr Jamharian agreed to come into the office and take a look at my wife. It turns out she had to have a root canal. He performed the root canal right away, and if it wasn't for his dedication and skill the weekend it was great could've been absolutely awful. We really appreciate Dr. Jamharian thank you

I was 6 months pregnant with the most horrible tooth ache while on vacation in Albuquerque for thanksgiving at the time. Dr Jamharian came highly recommended. He actually opened up his practice on Thanksgiving day to help. I needed an emergency root canal and he immediately started working on my tooth and explained everything as he was moving along. He is by far the most knowledgeable, kindest and gentle dentist I've ever had.

I was bounced from the dentist to the oral surgeon and back until I called here. Dr Jamharian knew exactly what to do, saw me on the very same day, and immediately took care of the problem. PROFESSIONAL: Dr Jamharian professionally talks you through every procedure, explaining as he goes, so you know exactly what to expect. No surprises. He offers well thought out longterm solutions and takes time to educate you on how to care for your teeth. CARING: He is not afraid to take on difficult cases and will promptly take care of dental emergencies, even if he has to come in on his day off.
