AVOID AT ALL COSTS... overpriced and the medical facility and staff does not care about the issues that brought you into the appointment. I needed a replacement for my previous retainer and I almost got charged over half of the original cost without any explanation. There's a blatant disregard for patients and their concerns. I continue to have TMJ, something I hoped this facility would help with but didn't.

terrible experience. Dr Moodt charges unreasonable prices for a retainer you can find on amazon for 1300 cheaper. this was a waste of time and money. horrible rude staff. Dr and staff do not listen and none of my pain was resolved. Do not go here no matter what. money hungry company that will just cause you more of a headache in the end

I've had nothing but a good experience with Dr. Moodt and his staff. My jaw tension from clenching and grinding has significantly decreased and my headaches are less frequent! Dr. Moodt also makes sure that your mouth appliances feel and fit comfortably so you wear them to get the relief you need. Thank you Dr. Moodt and staff.

Made me a splint for my TMJ pain. Not using insurance kinda stinks but he took fantastic care of me and his staff has always been very nice.

I was struggling with sleeping through the night and potential sleep apnea. My girlfriend could hear me tapping my teeth together at night, but after Dr. Moodt made me an appliance - I slept more soundly, and I had no more issues in a matter of days!!! He's one of the only nonsurgical specialists in Cleveland and worth it. Awesome doc.

Rudest staff and dentist. Do not come here they tell you that you need the most expensive procedure and overheard them talking political. Not a good experience especially when you aren't rich. Don't come here for an honest reliable NICE dentist

Missed an appointment and he became very aggressive and verbally threatening. He told me I "better watch it" when I asked for my medical records. Very unprofessional. Borderline illegal. You can't take a bad day out on your patients. I think the pandemic is stirring something up with him. He seemed mild mannered for the first year or so.

Dr. Moodt is a general dentist who has decided to limit his practice to treating TMJ/jaw pain issues. (There is no recognized dental specialty for this.) I had a previous splint made by a dental school approximately 20 years before I saw Dr. Moodt. It was serviceable but no longer providing the relief it once did. Dr. Moodt made a new splint which is much more comfortable than the previous one I had and has held up well. (some of the early ones I had, I would chew through in a matter of weeks! Until I finally got the one from the dental school from someone who knew what they were doing). Dr. Moodt doesn't accept insurance or file claims for you. I believe they will give you a superbill to submit to your insurance if you want to do so. I didn't care about this since I don't have dental insurance. It was a bit expensive to get the splint, but to me, it was worth it to have less pain and to protect my teeth and dental implant from the effects of bruxism.
