Dr. James Ballrick II grew up in Rocky River. He attended both St. Christopher Elementary School and Rocky River High School. After graduation from Rocky River High, he attended Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida where he majored in biochemistry. Upon acceptance for early admittance to The Ohio State University School of Dental Medicine, he left Eckerd after his third year and graduated from Ohio State with his doctoral degree (D.D.S.) in dentistry in 2004. Dr. Ballrick comes from a family of dentists as his father, James, and his younger brother, John, are orthodontists in Fairview Park and Westlake. Because of his exposure to dentistry at an early age, he has grown to develop a true devotion and appreciation for the dental field. Dr. Ballrick II keeps current in dentistry and dental trends by attending continuing education classes through his active memberships in the American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association, The Greater Cleveland Dental Society, and The West Shore Study Club. Dr. Ballrick has many hobbies including traveling, cars, remote control cars, and exercising. Dr. Ballrick married in 2011 to his wife Susan. They have two girls Alexis and Allison.
Julie is a registered dental hygienist that grew up in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She graduated from The University Of Pittsburgh School of Dental Hygiene in 1993. Julie moved to the Cleveland area in 1997. She has over 25 years of experience as a dental hygienist working in various settings from pediatric to periodontics to general practice. Julie enjoys getting to know her patients, making them feel comfortable and helping them maintain optimal dental health. In her spare time she also doubles as a pre-school gymnastics teacher. She loves to watch her two daughters participate in their various activities. Julie lives in Avon with her husband Tony and their two girls.
Jaime is a 2011 graduate from Youngstown State University with an Associate of Applied Science Degree which specialized in Dental Hygiene. She has been a member of our team since 2016. She is licensed to give local anesthesia injections to make patients comfortable during treatment. Jaime received the Colgate Star Award while in her dental hygiene program for her excelling with patient care. She attends study clubs and continuing education courses to maintain her license and stay up to date on the latest advances in dental hygiene treatment. Jaime and her husband relocated from the Youngstown area to Cleveland after they were married in 2013. Together they are huge Cleveland sports fans! She enjoys running, hiking, kayaking and spending time with her two Siberian Huskies Kody and Akira.
Ericka has been a member of our team since 2013. She graduated from the Accredited Dental Assisting program at Owens Community College in 2012 from Toledo. She also holds a Radiographers license along with Coronal Polishing. Ericka plans to further her education to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in the future and will be able to place restorations. She is passionate about what she does and is very hands-on. She enjoys working along side of the Dr. and helps ease patients and explain treatment. Outside of the office she keeps busy with her new daughter Vivian, and two German Shepherds Ellie and Jax. She is engaged to be married in the fall of 2018. She also loves watching Marvel movies and painting.

Pam at the front desk is the best. They lose her they sink. Lisa is an important team member as well. Easy to talk with and makes the visit pleasant while in the chair. Dr Ballrick of course is the mastermind of it all and is a pro. I would highly recommend this dentist office to anyone I know.

Professional, friendly, courteous, and gentle. Dr. Ballrick and his staff are professional and courteous. Their services and procedures are performed in a complete, thorough and expeditious manner, assuring that the patient is relaxed and comfortable. Examinations are complete and thorough, with care made to inform the patient of conditions that exist and procedures required.Dr. Ballrick is a true professional; experienced and knowledgeable in his profession. He is both honest and sincere in regards to the condition of his patients and their welfare.

I've been going to Dr Jim since he started and he continues to add all the new technology while maintaining the personal interest in his patients. I had great anxiety seeing a dentist but have comfort with all of the staff! If you are looking for a dentist I strongly suggesting seeing Dr. Jim! And I love getting my teeth cleaned...no pain and they look so good! Thank you all for being so kind and friendly and thorough. Diane
