Dr. Gavrilos is a well-respected authority in cosmetic dentistry. He is an active member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and serves on the board for the American Equilibration Society. As the only accredited cosmetic dentist in the Barrington area, Dr. Gavrilos background offers patients the unique opportunity to have beautiful aesthetic restorations while keeping within the laws of anatomy-based occlusion.
Dr. Gavrilos has been trained by some of the most renowned instructors at the Misch International Implant Institute, the Dawson Academy, the Kois Center, Spear Education, as well as the Pankey Institute. He is also active in the Dawson/Pankey study club for Dupage County.
Dr. Gavrilos earned his DDS degree from Loyola University in 1989. He immediately started TMJ and occlusal studies at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education. After completing the entire curriculum, he has continued participating in research studies on TMJ disease and their causes.
Anjelica has two years of experience managing dental offices. She is motivated most by the people she works with, the great doctor she works for, and all of the great patients that come into our practice. Having bonds with patients and helping them has always satisfied her in this role.
Dawn has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. She has worked with Merrill Chase Galleries, as well as the Insurance Division of the American Dental Association. Dawn handles many accounting and administrative functions for the practice and will be the friendly voice you hear when you contact our office.
Kim brings experience to our office from other restorative practices. She is a clinical dental assistant and is also responsible for instrument handling and sterilization. Kim works along side Dr. Gavrilos in providing our patients with the best of care.
Rosa brings nine years experience to our office from other dental practices. She is a clinical dental assistant and is also responsible for instrument handling and sterilization. Rosa works along side Dr. Gavrilos in providing our patients with the best of care.
Lynn, our primary hygienist, holds a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from University of Minnesota. She is responsible for re-care treatment, patient education, periodontal scalings, and coordination of periodontal care with our specialists.
Ruth Ann comes to our office with over 20 years of experience. She is a graduate of Harpers Dental Hygiene program. She is responsible for patient education programs, treatment coordination, and new product evaluation and implementation.

Dr. Gavrolis is a fabulous dentist, as well as a good and caring person. He's helped me through intensive dental work, giving me a whole set of new teeth about 11 years ago. He and his staff have looked after all my dental needs since then, always ready to help and advise. I've needed his help on short notice, and he finds a way to see me. Dawn is always on top of scheduling, with a smile and a can-do attitude. Rosie has been at Dr. Gavrolis' side for years and she's super. The whole team is great.

I love walking into Dr. Gavrilos office because I know I am walking into another high quality dental care appointment with professionals who genuinely care. Terri is a great Dental Hygienist who is gentle, and cares about being thorough, which I really appreciate. Dr. Gavrilos is very patient , easygoing , and his work is consistently outstanding. It's always a pleasure coming to the office to see everyone.

Doctor Gavrilos is one of the kindest most gentle doctors I have ever been to. Not to mention his vast knowledge in the world of dentistry. He knows it all!! Dr. Gavrilos and his staff are the best of the best. They always make me feel like a VIP. I was very comfortable throughout my crown appointments. Dr has state of the art digital equipment which makes the appointment go so smoothly and you leave with a perfect temporary crown. I now i have a beautiful permanent crown that feels like it's aways been there. I highly recommend this office because of their high quality work, genuine caring manner and professionalism.
