Dr. Bowman attended Bucknell University where he graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology. He went on to The State University of New York at Buffalo where he earned his Dental Degree in 1982. He went into the U.S. Navy where he served as for 3 years prior to coming to Stamford in 1985 to begin his private practice.
Dr. Bowman has been married to his wife Donna for over 30 years. Donna is an APRN and works at The Stamford Hospital. They have two children, Timothy and Katie. Timothy graduated from Penn State University and is an accountant working in Stamford. Katie graduated from Elon University and is employed by The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Dr. Bowman enjoys playing golf and woodworking in his spare time.
Dr. Bowman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry which requires over 500 hours of continuing education to achieve. He is a certified Invisalign Provider and has been treating cases since 2006. He attends numerous study clubs to further his knowledge of Invisalign treatment and the restoration of dental implants.
Kathy was born and raised in Stamford, CT and now lives in Monroe, CT with her family. She graduated from JM Wright Technical High School in 1984 with a trade in Industrial Chemistry and then went onto graduate in 1985 from the Dental Assisting Program from JM Wright Technical. She has been a Dental Assistant for over 30 years, and is also CPR certified.
Kathy was a stay at home Mom for 5 years before going back to work part-time at her childrens elementary school, once her children entered middle school, Kathy returned to her Dental Assisting career full time.
Kathy recently changed her position in Dr. Bowmans office as the Office Manager but will also continue to work with Dr. Bowman as his Dental Assistant. She thoroughly enjoys her patients but especially holds a special place in her heart for her senior patients. Working with patients of all ages has been and continues to be a joy for Kathy.
Colleen Bonina RDH, was born and raised in Stamford, CT. She is a graduate of Stamford High School (National Honor Society), Mitchell College (Mitchell Society of Scholars) and University of Bridgeport, Fones School of Dental Hygiene (Magna Cum Laude).
