My primary dentist felt my tooth needed to be extracted and replaced with an implant. I went to see Dr. Sather as he did a previous root canal for me and did a great job. He was able to save my tooth and did a great job. Highly recommend Dr. Sather.

Was having intense pain in my right eye tooth where a six tooth bridge was attached as well as general headaches and toothaches on right side of jaw. My dentist took a CV CT-Scan and did an exam and found nothing, but I was still in pain without a cause or solution. I decided to go to an endodontist for a second opinion and chose Dr. Sather based on reviews. First went for a consult appointment to figure out the issue. His assistant, Danielle, was very nice and thorough. She took an X-ray and that indicated the root in tooth has died. To verify, they took a very cold substance and placed it on all sides of tooth and I couldn't feel it. Dr. Sather then came in and informed me I needed a root canal. I was worried my expensive six tooth bridge would have to be replaced, but he said he could go through the bridge with likely no issues and he showed me some bone loss resulting from the decay but indicated it would grow back in a year or two. I made an appointment for the root canal to be performed two days later. The root canal took about 30 minutes and Dr. Sather got through the bridge just fine as he predicted (saving me $10K new bridge!), cleaned out the dead material, packed the canal thoroughly and then showed me a post-op X-ray. I'm an engineer by trade and I want to know what's happening when a procedure is done on me. I ask MANY questions and both Dr. Sather and Danielle always answered them thoroughly and patiently on both visits. Too often I have had an impatient or condescending attitude from other providers, but not here. I had 4 root canals 30+ years ago that were painful. This one was very deep (I have long roots) and with an internal infection and literally no pain during the procedure. I am now writing the next day and to my complete surprise, no pain at all! Honestly, I was stunned there was no pain during and AFTER my root canal! My headaches are gone and I feel a "lightness" now that the pressure from the internal infection is gone. My experience with Dr. Sather and Danielle more than met my expectations. Without a doubt, I know who I'll be going to if I have any endodontic treatment in the future.

Dr James Sather is amazing! He did my root canal three years ago and I looked for him to do another. My tooth was quite difficult and took two visits, but Dr Sather and Danielle were determined and saved my tooth. They explain when you have questions and have a great bed (chair) side manner. Both are considerate to each other which is nice to see. I'll be sending anyone I know, who is in need of an endodontist, to Dr Sather and Danielle. THANK YOU!

Dr. Sather was amazing! I DO NOT LIKE dentists or anything having to do with my teeth due to past experiences. This man and his assistant are beyond amazing. I literally had no pain after, wasn't sore... NOTHING. The only discomfort was getting the shot to numb my gum. I am finally able to drink water and enjoy food after more than a decade of pain and discomfort. I am going back to him for any root canal work I or my family need. I highly recommend Dr. Sather. He is God-Sent to this field.

Doctor Sather is by far the best endodontist's that I have had the pleasure to work on my root canal. His professionalism and extreme concern for my well being far exceeded my expectation. His phone calls and emails to see how I was doing over the weekend on his day off was extraordinarily kind in his care. Dr. Sather has been my Doctor for two root canals. He is the kind of Doctor you would want to perform this kind of oral dentistry. Calm, competent, and very reassuring are traits that I welcome in Dr. Sather's demeanor. I might add he is very efficient and thorough throughout his task. I appreciate his warm, caring tone while he explains what the prognosis and procedure will be. A true professional. l am happy to be his patient.

I had a root canal scheduled, and Dr. Sather reviewed the tooth's condition and was honorable to note the root canal would be a temporary fix. He took the time to explain all options going forward. It was very appreciated to understand my options with honest clarity.

YES... a soothing root canal is possible! Dr Sather has done two and I DO NOT DREAD the third! His manner is very soothing and calm, and I recommend him to everyone!
