Dr. Rochefort, a native of New Hampshire, grew up north of the White Mountains in the small town of Lancaster where his family owned and operated the local independent pharmacy. After graduating high school, Dr. Rochefort attended Tulane University where he received a bachelors and masters degree in Biomedical Engineering. His goal was to be a researcher, but after working in a lab at the University of Washington, he decided that career wasnt for him. I missed people. I loved all the people that would come through my fathers drug store and interacting with them. Working in research was just too isolating. It was at this point Dr. Rochefort began his road towards dentistry and attended Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dental medicine where he graduated summa cum laude. He then continued his studies by completing a General Practice Residency in Asheville, North Carolina before returning to practice in New Hampshire. After working in southern New Hampshire for a few years, Dr. Rochefort took over for Dr. Maloney in the fall of 2013. Dr. Rochefort is a member of a number of national dental organizations as well as the national and local chapters of the American Dental Association. He also participates with the Great Bay Dental Studies Club with a number of local dentists and specialists, as well as with Spear Education. Dr. Rochefort enjoys cooking, gardening (or at least attempting to), woodworking, and the outdoors.He also enjoys spending time with his wife, his daughter, and their cat, Fred.
Deb began working with Dr. Rochefort soon after taking over for Dr. Maloney. Since that time, Deb has been incredibly skilled at making the front office run like clockwork. She comes to the dental field after years of experience working in a medical anesthesia practice as well as a private optometry office. In addition to being a gourmet chef, she enjoys traveling, boating, kayaking, and going to the beach.
Cheryl has many years of experience in the field of dental hygiene. Before working with Dr. Rochefort, she worked here in the office with Dr. Maloney for 24 years. A New Hampshire Native, Cheryl has lived in Portsmouth for the past 25 years. She is married with two grown children and two grandchildren.
Terri graduated with a degree in dental hygiene from NHTI in Concord in 2005. She has worked at our location for a number of years before continuing on with Dr. Rochefort after Dr. Maloneys retirement. Terri is passionate about oral hygiene education and periodontal care and prides herself on putting the comfort and trust of patients first. She loves her husband, two children, and being at the lake.
Dee has been a dental assistant for more than 40 years and has worked at our office for most of that time, first with Dr. Maloney and then Dr. Rochefort when he took over the practice in 2013. Dee is married, has three grown children and four grandchildren. She enjoys boating, dining and travel to locations like Costa Rica and Ireland.
Penny graduated in 2008 with a degree in dental hygiene from Columba Basin College in Pasco, WA. She has gained vast experience in hygiene working in the states of Washington and Tennessee prior to joining our team in 2017. Penny has a passion for sharing her knowledge of oral hygiene with patients to help them achieve their optimum level of oral and systemic health. Penny has been married to her husband since 1983 and has two children. She loves the ocean and all four New England seasons.
