Only giving a 1 star because I cannot rate them lower. My husband was recently seen for tooth pain. The first visit, he had a filling. Then had to go back as he was having trouble with the filling a week later. Another week went by and he developed severe pain while we were out of town. We called and the dentist was able to get him in the following afternoon as well as call in an antibiotic for infection,(this was the only positive experience of the entire process). So he went in for a 3 rd visit within a 3 1/2 week period to be seen and referred for a route canal. They did not explain the process to him but simply handed him a referral and said to schedule. He made the appointment with the endodontist, had the route canal and was told to follow up with our dentist within 30 days for his crown. So he called the next day and scheduled a 4th appointment to hav his crown done, or what he thought. At the last appointment he had his teeth were cleaned, dentist came in and looked at his teeth and said "we need to get you back in and have the cavity filled." My husband said he was supposed to have his crown done and the response was, "that's not what is on our schedule". So needless to say, he had to schedule another appointment and take additional time off work. He voiced his frustration and a week later received a discharge letter. As someone who works in healthcare I would not recommend this practice, not only are they disorganized, they do not provide clear information regarding the process for procedures, do not have any compassion and have zero customer service skills. Staff are less than professional when addressing your concerns, never once did he receive a call from the office manager. Just save yourself a lot of headache and go somewhere else!

Great experience. They went to great lengths to ensure I felt no/minimal pain. Everyone was great, especially the hygienist. I have been looking for a good place to trust with my dental care and I think I have found it.

This dental office is the best I've had in years. Everyone is so polite and kind. I saw one reviewer said " If you are black don't go to them"well I'm black and I've been treated with nothing but kindness and respect. They are not just focused on money they care about you and your well-being.

Awesome place my Girls husband and i are all patients we love it so much they are more like family.

This place was awful. I needed and emergency tooth extraction. The dentist even said so. But instead of pulling my tooth he said "do to your anxiety level I need to see a specialist to be put to sleep" mind you I'm self-pay and could not afford a dentist like that. I left in tears and in excruciating pain. These people have no morals or ethical values. And for doing nothing at all they tried to damage my credit. I am now working on a lawsuit. Please if you care about yourself do not go there.

I've never liked going to the dentist until now. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The dental hygienst, Catherine, was very thorough and answered all my questions. Dr. Bukovac was also very thorough. I love the fact that they don't push for you to have unnecessary work, only what you need. I highly recommend them!!!

This office goes above and beyond to meet the needs of their patients. Almost all my family members go here because they are reliable and provide great patient outcomes. Brittany, at the front desk is great, super receptive, and will help you with all your concerns and needs. Great team overall.

I brought my daughter here for her cleaning and I was very impressed with this practice. We don't have insurance and they offered an in house plan which was essentially 260 for the year and included 2 exams, 2 cleanings, bitewing xrays, and fluoride, plus 20% off dental work. The previous dentist we went to charged 250 for one cleaning, exam, bitewings, and fluoride. The previous dentist also said my daughter had 3 cavities which would cost 600 to fill. Dr. Bukovac and the hygienist said that there was only 1 area of early decay but it was a baby tooth that should be coming out soon. They recommened daily ACT fluoride rinse and to reevaluate at next cleaning and if it progressed through the enamel he'd do a filling. It was nice to not feel taken advantage of and to receive great and reasonably affordable care. Plus the hygienist was super sweet and made my daughter's day by referring to her as a princess. Highly recommend if you're looking for an honest dental office!

If you're black please find another dentist. I have endured smart comments from the front desk throughout the years.They shoved a needle in mouth AFTER I expressed pain from not being numbed prior with the orajel. They did had horrible job on my fillings. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS OFFICE AGAIN.

We transferred here after a bad experience at another Dentist's office. The staff was amazing and helped me get my 14 year old daughter's xrays released after dealing with a dentist that would only do what treatment THEY wanted to do. I was reassured over and over by the very nice front desk lady, that would NEVER happen with their practice, they only perform the treatments the patient wants. We were referred over to their Bonney road location for an extraction by Dr. Bukovac. I took her in for the appointment for extraction and without consent Dr. Bukovac starts a root canal for 1.5 hours without saying a word to me, the parent. I was upset that he decided to do what HE wanted after being assured that they would never perform treatment the patient didn't approve. We made a second appointment for a week later to finish the root canal that wasn't requested. We arrive and wait for the appointment to start, the same front desk lady from the Kempsville location came out to check on my daughter before she was called back. She brought up the previous appointment and I again pointed out he should not have made his own decision to start the root canal when extraction was what we came in for. Dr. Bukovac apparently heard us speaking and outright refused to finish treatment. We had a week in between these appointments and this man waited until the 14 year old patient is in the waiting room to cancel because he does not like hearing he did something wrong. This was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional in every way. Starting a root canal without permission on and under-aged person in the first place was completely inappropriate and malpractice at worst, but to refuse to finish the treatment he started (without permission)while the patient is in the waiting room, after a week in between when he could have canceled anytime, and with no explanation is completely unprofessional and rude. DO NOT GO HERE

I LOVE this dentistry practice. I've been going here for almost 10 years. I trust the dentists and staff. They do an excellent job taking care of my teeth and I highly recommend them.

Me and my family are new patients and so far so good they are great on the phone and helpful . A lot of my coworkers are patients and speak great things about them . New to Va Beach so we are ready for the experience.

I contacted this office for a emergency visit and was seen at a different location. Further away from where I lived. I was never asked (as it would have been convenient for me) to be seen at the office closer to my home. The distance was an issue for me. I don't have a car and have to Uber/Lyft to this office every appointment. I would spent $40 in getting there and back alone! The doctor was nice but most of his staff really needs to take customer service classes or become better humans. Very rude at times. Today I went to get a crown build-up and got to the office less than 13 mins late due to traffic and my Lyfte to only be told I had to reschedule. I was upset. I spent money coming here and by no fault of my own is being turned away? One of the workers asked me to reschedule and I said I would get back to them. Then the receptionist (rude one) asked if I wanted to cancel all my appointments. Shocked I said "you know what! Yes I would!" If a office can't take things into consideration especially when in past appointments the doctor has been late to see me and now I am late you going to treat me like this is uncalled for and shows how truly disposable they treat their clients. It also took a month to come up with a treatment plan and was charged for a 2 fillings ahead of time but only got one done. Seriously? UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PRACTICE!!! No client should feel like they don't matter!!
