Dr. Predmore has practiced dentistry in the Upper Connecticut River Valley since 1983 and in Hanover, New Hampshire since 1997. He received his DDS from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in 1982 and completed a general practice residency at the University of Colorado in 1983. He has spent many hours of continuing education with Dr. Peter Dawson in St. Petersburg, FL and Dr. William Strupp in Clearwater, FL. Both of these Doctors and their dental philosophies and techniques have greatly influenced Dr. Predmore's practice and the way he performs his dentistry.
The AACD is devoted to continuing dental education and elevating the standard of dental care. Accreditation involves passing a written examination, followed by the delivery and extensive documentation of a broad range of cosmetic treatment solutions for five patients. The successful submission of these five cases is followed by an oral examination administered by the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry. This process has enabled Dr. Predmore to elevate his level of care beyond what was previously possible.
A beautiful smile will last many years if certain issues are addressed during treatment. Our unique philosophy of treatment involves a four-step process designed to assure the health and longevity of your smile.
#1 - The first area we evaluate is your TMJs (temporomandibular joints). Comfortable, stable TMJs and allowing relaxation of the associated muscles are critical in developing a stable bite. Muscle relaxation helps to reduce clenching and grinding of the teeth.
#2 - The second area we address is the relationship between the TMJs and the bite. The bite should be in sync with fully seated TMJs. Muscles of the jaw, head, and neck should act in a coordinated fashion and be relatively tension free for maximum comfort and stability.
#4 - Finally, we address the teeth themselves, assuring that they demonstrate the beauty, comfort, and longevity we seek. In the event that restorations are needed, we will use materials that are durable and compatible with the oral environment.
In each of the above four areas we look for signs of instability or deterioration. The treatment we recommend to you is intended to develop stability which will result in a beautiful, comfortable and lasting dentition.

I highly recommend Dr Predmore and his entire dental practice. My experience for the greater than 5 years being followed there were exceptional. I have moved out of the area otherwise he would still be my dentist.

Dr Predmore makes an extra effort to accommodate the special needs of his patients. For example, my restorative work done since I became his patient 40 years ago, included insulated fillings. My teeth were quite sensitive to hot and cold in those days and this special addition alleviated considerable pain. More recent work included long sessions of tooth preparation to install crowns which caused pain in my TMJ (old jaw hinge injury). Dr Predmore allowed the extra time necessary to let my jaw rest during the grinding work so this discomfort could subside. These are just two examples of his many personal touches complementing his impeccable technical work. Special treatment by himself and his competent staff make dental visits almost pleasurable!

I started going to Dr. Predmore after many years of neglecting my oral health after moving to the Upper Valley. After numerous recommendations of how well he treats people I called and made an appointment and have not regretted the decision once. After much hard work we have my oral well being back in shape where it should be. I can't thank Dr. Predmore and his staff enough for getting me right. I would recommend them to any and all that are looking for great service and good personal interaction.

I'm Andy D'Amico and a retired teacher. Jim Predmore saved my teeth! I have been his patient since 1976. My wife Elizabeth joined later. You are in good hands with Jim Predmore and his knowledgeable and his capable staff. Both of us have benefitted from his outstanding work taking care of our teeth. I was having trouble keeping my teeth clean only because I did not clean my teeth in the proper way. Jim advised me to have gum surgery since tooth loss was a possibility. He referred me to an extremely capable dentist who specialized in gum surgery. That was in 2001. Long story short, with gum surgery completed, I was able to keep my teeth. I learned you have to not only use a brush in the CORRECT way, but you then have to use the small brush between the teeth followed by flossing. If you clean your teeth in a minute or less, you are not doing a good job. Both Elizabeth and I think of Jim an artist. He can fix damaged and worn teeth and straighten teeth that need it. For this work, he was awarded ACCREDITED MEMBER status from the AMERICAN BOARD OF COSMETIC DENTRISTY which requires years of rigorous work. This work included a written examination, an oral examination, and submission of clinical cases. Only a dental artist can achieve that recognition. It was easy to write this review because we have known him for so long a time.

As the song goes -"Simply the best, better than all the rest" that easily describes Dr. Predmore and his staff. They are so in sync as a team. I have never liked my teeth and he transformed my entire mouth. He is an artist, a perfectionist who gave me a smile that I'm SO happy to use. Thank you isn't big enough to express my appreciation. He simply is the BEST!

I used to feel embarrassed about my teeth, breaking them and having filling come out at inconvenient times. Now I have a great smile and solid teeth. Great staff, great work, great smile!
