Sharon Bryson was born and raised in Bryson City. She has one daughter who lives in Denver, CO. Sharon has worked as a dental assistant helping make smiles in Bryson City for over 25years. She brings a wealth of experience and compassion to our patient care team.
Dr. Jim Ridgeway is originally from Williston, South Carolina and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina dental school in 2009. He served as a dentist in the United States Air Force and received anadditional year of residency training. Through the residency Dr. Ridgeway gained additional experience in root canal therapy, wisdom teeth extractions, sedation, and treatment of TMJ and sleep apnea. He entered civilian life in June of 2014 and decided to bring his family to beautiful western North Carolina.
Michelle Evans was born and raised in Waynesville, NC. She graduated from the dental hygiene program at AB-Technical College and has over 20 years of dental experience. She and her husband have a daughter. Michelle joined us in 2018 and has been a welcome addition to our practice.
Rena Ensley is also a native of Bryson City. She has a son who is currently finishing his PhD at Yale. Rena attended SCC and spent time in Texas after school. She returned to Bryson City in 1993 and brought her organizational skills and caring personalityas our insuranceand patient care coordinator for thepractice.
Ali is a native of Asheville, NC, but calls Bryson City home. She and her husband have 2 sons and a daughter. Ali is the welcoming face you will see at our front desk and keeps things runningsmoothly and efficiently with her variety of skills and medical background. During her spare time she enjoys going to the beach and cruising with her family.
Janelle Waliezer is originally from Washington state. She graduated from Clark College in Vancouver, WA. In the year 2000 she moved to Sylva, NC and has been a part of this practice since 2008. She and her husband, Gary have three sons and she spends most of her spare time watching them play sports!
