Thank you Dr Davenport, Lynn and Dawn! From the start of my visit to the end was the most pleasant dental appointment I've had ever!! I was told what needs to be done to get my teeth and gums healthy and I didn't feel rushed or unnoticed! All three took their time to give me the best dental care possible!! There was no negative attitudes or anything! They work with you scheduling your appointment and I felt like family today!!! I will be seeing them often to get my teeth and gums healthy, yet it will be well worth it! I was so relieved to know they use topical numbing gel and not those very painful shots, I think my fear of needles was calmed as well!!! If you want top dental care and compassion please make an appointment with Dr Davenport!!

Had some emergency repair service taken care of by Dr. Davenport some months back. The facility is very clean and the staff was very friendly. Dr. Davenport was able to work with my financial status and provided me a great cost for the work done. Fully recommend!

I just spoke with Dawn to schedule an appointment and based on recent dental experiences; I am most grateful for her concern and sincerity!! I look for to my first visit! The compassion they seem to have already has calmed my fears even before my first appointment! Thank you , Dawn!

I'm no longer a customer here because Dr. James Davenport thought it would be a good idea to grind down my opposing tooth after he put a crown on. I have talked to other dentist since the crown and every single one of them said my crown should have been adjusted and not the opposing tooth. He basically ground down my good tooth. We have multiple dentist here in the Tucson area and we dont have to settle for this below average dental work. I will say I do miss Angie. She was always a pleasure.

I had several challenges that needed to be addressed and without the anxiety that I had experienced during previous dental visits at a different dentist . Not only was the office very clean, they were very conscientious about scheduling not having more than one person or two in the office waiting to be seen. and once the dental plan was drawn up they stuck to that dental plan and the price plan. In the event that I need more dental work this is my new dentist

Discriminatory practices in place! Dr. Davenport practices in a manner that is money first and a patient second. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Davenport's office for a Zoom Whitening treatment. I completed all of the necessary medical and pre-screening paperwork. The form was a pretty standard medical history form. As a responsible adult, I marked yes to the area asking if I was Epileptic. After reviewing my medical history they decided to proceed. I was delighted. We went through the process of making the trays for the preceding fluoride treatment. At this time, Dr. Davenport requires 50% of the total treatment to be paid. I paid and was told to return the following day to pick up my trays. This afternoon, I received a phone call. I was told that they would be canceling their services with me due to my Epilepsy. I attempted to explain my seizure disorder to no avail. I offered to supply a letter from my neurologist. They declined to accept any additional communication about my medical history. This conversation was with Judy, his front office staff. I asked to speak to Dr. Davenport directly. Judy stated that she would have him call me back later this afternoon. Dr. Davenport never called. He refused to have a conversation with me, instead, having his office personnel relay a medical decision he made without knowing all of the facts. A medical doctor that refuses to know a patient's full history isn't someone I would recommend to my worst enemy. My late-onset epilepsy is not induced by lights. I have no light impairment. Dr. Davenport would know this if he took the time to get to know his patients, but alas, he is driven by dollars first and history never. Even if it were light-induced or that was his concern, there are ways to protect the patient from the light as it is not shined in their eyes. The light is used directly in the mouth. I know and understand that it is a doctor's right to refuse to do the work in this setting. My issues stem from my wasted time and his clear and utter disregard for me as a person. If Dr. Davenport felt so strongly about not working with an epileptic patient then I should have been refused service on my first visit, before the impressions for the fluoride trays were even started. Before I was charged 50% for his services. If he felt so strongly about the risks, why didn't he take the time to speak with me and explain, medically, why he could not proceed? Your guess is as good as mine. This procedure is the first step in me regaining my smile. When I was diagnosed with epilepsy 4 years ago I broke a few of my teeth during my first seizure. There are several steps that I must take to regain my smile and these last 4 years I've done everything I can to make it work. I want the confidence a beautiful smile can give a person. I've never been treated so poorly by a person in the medical field. Until today, I had never been on the receiving end of discrimination due to my disability. If you too are after the confidence a beautiful smile can give you, especially if you are disabled, then I recommend finding another doctor.

I'm giving this office a one star. I scheduled an appointment a month ago for March 18th at 4:00P.M. Let me start saying that booking an appointment was a struggle, never answer the phone, they do call you back but if you don't answer you just missed the opportunity to talk to a person. I did understand, it's a small practice, I get it! Well, March 18th comes and I received a call from Judy (front office) at 2:00PM telling me that the 1:30 P.M appointment didn't show up and Dr. Davenport can't wait for my appointment at 4:00 PM. I told her that unfortunately I can't just get up and leave my workplace without a previous approval from my supervisor, there's a reason why I booked my appointment with so much time in advance. "I can't have Dr. Davenport wait here for 2 hours, he just can't, I know him he won't stay for 2 hours. He wouldn't just pay us for sitting around the office for 2 hours" that's exactly what Judy said. This is unacceptable and unprofessional, my fiance is an optometrist and his patients always come first. A GOOD doctor can't just say "we'll I'm done so I'm going home" when patients are on the schedule, unless is an emergency, not in this case. Why I have to pay the consequences of the previous patient for not showing up? Was it my fault? Why I have to wait another week/month for this "new" appointment? He just lost two new patients ( my fiance and I) not like he cares, obviously he doesn'tl like to wait for his patients ON THE SCHEDULE. Horrible new patient experience.

I first went to Dr. Davenport 3 months ago after not having gone to the dentist in 12 years! Judy, who takes care of scheduling and billing, is so pleasant and welcoming, I immediately felt at ease. They thoroughly explained my problems, came up with a long term plan, and were very transparent about what each visit will cost without me even asking for a price breakdown. Angie, the dental hygienist, made me actually feel excited about being there and inspired me to be proactive about my health. After just 2 visits I'm well on my way to better dental and gum health. If you're afraid of the dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Davenport and his team.

I'm so thankful to everyone in this office! I had a few very bad experiences at two other offices in Tucson and they Dr Davenport's office got me right back on track! They are kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. They are a treasure!

The staff are friendly and skilled. Dr. Davenport is a master of his craft and quite possibly the best dentist I have ever had work on my teeth. I have definitely found my dental home.

The staff at the office of James L Davenport are caring and made me feel quite comfortable. James has a great sense of humor and Angie was very gentle while performing a deep root cleaning. I have had some painful experiences with cleanings in the past but this was not bad at all. My mouth wasn't even sore after the anesthesia wore off! I highly recommend James and his staff!!

Awful treatment!! Not much knowledgeable or skillful. Very old style with not much of moderation. Most of the other dentists are using emails to reminder patients with their appointments, do not dream of this type of communications here!

I was way overdue for dental care when I finally came in to see Dr. Davenport. He put me at ease and was polite and professional about the care I needed. His assistant was great and the hygienist was also first class.

I've been going to Dr Davenport for about two years now and I've had nothing but positive experiences. The office staff, Judy, is amazing too. She's always very patient with any questions I've had regarding my insurance and out of pocket costs. I can't say enough good things about this dental practice.

I really appreciate this practice. You are treated as an individual. Dr Davenport is personable and you don't feel rushed if you have questions. The hygentist Angie is fantastic! She is friendly, professional, and does a great job cleaning your teeth and sharing little tips to help keep your teeth and gums healthy. Thank you!
