Dr. Vanman has been in Tampa Bay area for nearly five years. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and attended dental school at Midwestern University. He is an Army veteran, enlisting prior to attending college and serving as a combat medic.

Dr. Vanman has mastered the art of general dentistry and has taken steps to continue his education in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including smile design, endodontics, extractions, implants, crown and bridge, dentures and Invisalign treatment. Dr. Vanman continues to fly around the nation, attending dental conferences and gaining knowledge from the best the dental industry has to offer.

I had a bridge put in 7 years ago. Was supposed to last 15-20 years. Went in to get it fixed after it came out and told I would need to pay another $1000 to replace. Seems to me if it was a bad part or install it would be covered. Paid $4000 to get a short lived dental bridge.

I lost my ex husband tragically almost two years ago. I personally struggled with addiction for 2 years around 2013 and have been on MAT for years. Between 5 kids and the medications damaging my teeth, infections that were extremely painful and bad experiences.... This place has been nothing short of spectacular. From the great front desk staff, hygienists and the Dentists themselves, start to finish is always a good experience. This is the ONLY dental center that I have continued to return to. This place gives me so much hope for the future of my smile.

Dr. K is awesome. He's a regular guy, likes to chat about normal stuff. I've been going to them for 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I really liked his personality, but I found half of the work was done by his dental assistant! The last time I was there, after I left with a numb mouth I realized they didn't even take the cotton rolls out of my mouth before I left!!!! I just felt it was very poor treatment. What a shame.

I have been going to Dr kosadar for over 12 years if not longer not only myself but my husband and my mother, Dr kosadar is always been a wonderful dentist until he brought in a new partner and a new billing department, last year my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer stage 4 and was given three to six months to live, it was an extremely trying time my mother by the grace of God made it 18 months which was a blessing during that time I had to go to the dentist and had a zero balance my husband had to go to the dentist and had a zero balance however my mother only had five teeth and had to go to the dentist while she was on chemotherapy and dying of cancer where the new procedure to get her five teeth cleaned was five office visits she had one tiny cavity which was another visit and another visit and another visit and then she was double billed through Humana through blue Cross and during this time $127 Bill slipped through the cracks they were paid by my caregiver multiple times my mother passed 3 months ago a week after my mother passed I cracked my left tooth as well as my front bottom tooth was cracked when they're dental cleaner broke it during dental cleaning I called up Dr kosadar where I was rudely yelled at and screamed at about $127 bill that I had no idea what they were talking about due to the fact that my mother had just passed covud was in the works my tooth was cracked I owed them no money my husband owed them no money we had zero balances where she told me my entire family had been fired and not allowed to come to the office and hung up I immediately texted Dr kosadar as we have been more like family to explain the situation and to pay the bill so that I could get into the office well he promised he would call me back well I guess he has no backbone after multiple apologies and multiple calls to Dr kosadar's personal phone I got no response I am left with a cracked tooth which was their responsibility an infection in my left bridge which he has fixed before and another chipped tooth which he has fixed before all of these were his fixings that have come undone their office should be ashamed of theirselves I have called Humana and blue Cross blue shield Florida combined health both the bills were paid by both companies there should have never been a balance in the first place I was told that they fixed my mother's bridge it was going to send it out that's why she had to have another visit to go in for a bridge fitting they did put the stuff in her mouth to take an impression but never took the bridge then they argued with me about that it's a shame that the office is turned into this we're at one time his staff personally and Dr kosidar was a pleasure to be with now they just steal your money lie and make as many appointments as possible it is unbelievable that during covid they would fire my entire family they didn't have to fire my mother because she died so they got out of that one they ought to be ashamed of themselves anybody thinking of going to 4th Street dental group or Dr kosadar should run in the other direction they are not what they used to be With response to Dr James kosadar below, that was a pretty lame response which means obviously everything above that I said is true there was no breakdown in patient relationship I was yelled at my mom's caregiver was yelled at I actually have Dr costadar's personal phone number which he gave me which I can post here if everybody would like it so obviously Dr kosdar knows that he's in the wrong, and again still not addressing the situation as to why he gave me his home phone number and said he would straighten this out so I could come in as to why he fired the entire family the entire family quote the entire family when the bill was for my mother there was no breakdown in anything this is another bunch of lies, as I can see nothing above was addressed. The office practice is absolutely terrible the billing practice is terrible the communication is terrible and the whole thing is just gone bad the truth always prevails

I have had nothing but positive experiences at all of my appointments. I needed an emergency appt after chipping my front tooth last year and they were able to get me in asap to fix it. I appreciated it SO much. Dr. Vanman is awesome, I felt comfortable during all of my appts to replace the tooth. It's now been about a year since I've had it in and I've had no problems with it whatsoever. All of the staff and hygienists that I've seen/interacted with have been wonderful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a dentist in the area.

Excellent dental experience ...Dr. Kosydar is kind and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable.The entire staff is welcoming and friendly made me feel like family.!!!Fees for dental care are fair ...alll around great experience !!!

Dr. Lowry is excellent, she makes you feel comfortable and relays information about any issues with your teeth in easily understandable English. I've received calls from Dr. Lowry the day after any fillings to make sure I'm doing alright, she goes above and beyond. Would rate it 10 stars if I could!

My experience was ok at first. But then they are not very appreciative of how much dental work cost and they think only their time matters, not the customer. They also like to schedule appointments and not inform you of them until the day before also requested a appointment for after the first of the year but someone in their scheduling department decided to make an appointment and not inform me of that day until their automated call system left me a voicemail. In summary they are just in it for the money and not repeat business and do not appreciate the almost $2000.00 I spent on 1 tooth. There is plenty of other dentists. Ps don't miss an appointment.

I use to go to see Dr Kosydar until I got another opinion for a diagnosed root canal because it seemed this needing a root canal diagnosis was getting out of hand with being told all the time as well as deep cleanings. I went to another dentist that was recommended, didn't say a word about being told I needed a root canal or deep cleaning and was told I should get a filling. The last root canal that Kosydar did for me also left a black line which showed the tip of the cap that was used because he uses a cheaper version porcelain fused to metal (PFM) crown. It is horribly visible every time I smile. I did mention it to him when I was there again and he didn't seem to care much until I started showing that it really bothered me. He was not respectful with it and just kind of made it seem like a bother and he can put binding over it and did but that his binding job fell off in a couple weeks and after he did it is had a sharp edge to it that I kept feeling. I know wish that I made a bigger fuss about it because it is ugly and very visible when smiling. On top of this some work he said he did I had to get redone later on which one was a stated root canal he did. Yup. Had to pay for another one after paying Kosydar for the same tooth. I liked him as a person, but he always seemed extremely rushed all the time. I usually do not write reviews but I feel I wasted a lot of time and money trusting him and will have to live with my black gummed lined cap because of not making him reorder a cap.

OMG!!! The staff here isn't up to par !! Please stop making your clients wait so long. They all need more training in customer service . Their famous words are we will be right with you while you continue to wait . No one cares about the customers if you want great service go to Bay Dental Associates address is 2201 4th Street North . Dr. Aaron Moneyhan always gives exceptional service and very professional. His entire staff is competent and professional. Mary Beth my hygienist is wonderful she takes her time and always does a superb job. I can't say enough about these people . There pricing on everything is more than fair . Trust me you will love Bay Dental Associates Updated Reply to the owner !! I'm replying to the owner's review on me . I have been to your dental office when it was on fourth street. My last name was different and I did have bad service . My wait time was always unacceptable. Your receptionist always kept me waiting regardless of what time I was scheduled. I did like Dr. Kosydar at one time he was my favorite. I had to pay more for all my services there . However I wasn't particularly fond of anyone else . I had to always wait longer than I should even though I scheduled an appointment. I have some friends that still come to your 16th Street office because they like Dr. Kosydar . The complaint that your employee wrote about my manager has nothing to do with what I'm posting . I have confidence and I support my manager . However it is unprofessional to attack someone that you now nothing about . Not to mention wanting them fired . That's the perception my manager has on your employees complaint it was in the complaint. Your employee said that was the second time she had been in for months . Your employee made a statement that my manager was allowing bad behavior from the employees. Their was nothing negative said at all during the time your employee picked up the order for another employee . The information given was all hearsay. We have three other witnesses that heard the conversation. Everyone deserves the opportunity to learn and be trained as a manager . This is America we all make mistakes no one is perfect we are all equal we all deserve a fair opportunity in life .

I've been going to Dr Kosydar for 10 years & he's great! He makes me feel so comfortable & is so patient with my OCD. Today i saw his associate & he was wonderful too. Very patient & caring! Best Care!

Worst experience ever. I was scheduled an appointment. I waited at least 45 min. I observed two other clients go in before me, that came in after me. I asked the receptionist why are clients going before me. She replied, we will be right with you. By the time I went back and everything was done. I was completely dissatisfied. They rushed thru the whole process and over charged me. I would have been better off going to the free dental clinic downtown St. Pete. I Will not be coming back to this location.
