After graduating from (Larimer County High School), James wanted to study at one of the leading Schools of Dentistry. After graduating from the School of Dentistry at Northwestern University, he returned to his home town to provide his expertise and knowledge to Larimer County and his home town of Loveland.
In addition to General Dentistry, Dr. Richards is an expert in the restoration of dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. As a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and as a member of the Colorado Dental & American Dental Associations, Dr. Richards continues his education in the advancements of dental technology to serve you today, and into the future.

Best dentist I've ever been to! If you or your child has sensory processing disorder as I do, this place would be your best bet! They are very informative, patient and gentle! They explain everything to you before they do it. The Dentist is an expert at what he does and the rest of the staff such as the desk lady and hygienists are super friendly!!!!!!! Not to mention they take COVID very seriously and have little therapy dogs there! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Here's a picture of Winston, while I'm in the waiting room!

Names william and i would like to say since i called the office and spoke to sarah i was treated with the upmost respect and sarah immediately helped me out and took me right in....james k richards is absolutely one of the best dentist i ever been to...he was informational and very thorough with his work...he got me in and out within an hour....i woke up with the side of my face swollen...i had an infection and a tooth that needed to be extracted and james k richards took care of me....thankyou so much guys for relieving this pain away

The people there are great Dr. Richards is the best I broke my denture and he said he could have it to me if you days fixed I had another pair and he picks them so they weren't hurting me anymore I would recommend him to anybody and everybody they took me in right away no questions asked TV made for me that broke were the best I ever had they fit great just something happened and they broke I hit the ground exactly And he said he could fix them and get them back to me very quickly and I appreciate that and it's a fair price for what he's doing

I SO enjoy Dr. Richards and his friendly staff! I worked in dentistry years ago, and tend to be REAL picky about my dentists. He surely fits the bill.....no nonsense, up on his technology, and a staff that's happy to work with him. That tells you a lot.
