Dr. Gentile began his collegiate training at Widener University, majoring in Biology and graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1977. He entered dental school that same year at Temple University School of Dentistry. After graduating with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Dr. Gentile enrolled in the schools graduate program in fixed prosthodontics. Prosthodontic specialty training establishes the practitioner with advanced skills and experience in case planning and treatment using dental prostheses.
He completed his prosthodontic certification in 1983, at which time he opened his practice. Also in 1983, he joined the faculty at Temple University where he served as Clinical Associate Professor for eight years.
Throughout his training, Dr. Gentile was an exceptionally involved student, holding office in numerous honorary dental societies and the recipient of achievement-based scholarships. He maintains this level of commitment to date.
Recently, Dr. Gentile has gained public acclaim for his excellence in dentistry. In 2006, he was featured as one of Americas Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council of America. In 2004, he was listed in The Best Dentists in America, as well as The Main Line Today Magazine as one of the Best Dentists in the Specialty of Prosthodontics.

As a licensed dentist and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon I am happy to recommend without any reservations the James Gentile DDS and his office staff. My visits were painless, the work he did was of the highest quality, and the new crowns feel great. I even advised my wife to make him her new dentist. He is kind, careful, and caring. I am always happy to recommend someone who is able, affable, and available.

Very happy with Dr. Gentile work and personality. He was recommended as "the best" cosmetic dentist and they were right! He sure does a great work and is honest and price-wise reasonable. I am also highly recommending him. :)

This office will gouge you any way that they can. I went in for a consultation and was never told that it cost money. We see so many lawyers ads that consultation is synonymous with free....and I think thats why this office chooses that word. Ive been on welfare my entire life and cant afford to pay for a consultation. It was really underhanded of them. When I called and explained that I didnt think it was fair that I be charged for a consultation, I was told that its my choice on whether or not to play, but if I dont pay they are sending me to collections. What a customer-centric practice (NOT!). Ive seen dentists overload their schedules in an effort to make more money, but Ive never in 47 years seen a dentist screw people over to make more money. Greed has no boundries for this practice.

Don't go there they will try to take your money by any means and give your services you didn't ask for.. very very bad office and staff and with all the money I paid my teeth are not fixed .. very disappointing

Absolutely the best ! Have a fear of dentists, he put me totally at ease. Have had approximately 8 appts, NEVER had to wait, his staff is fabulous too Met him 40 years too late
