Dr. Flerra graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1993 with a Bachelors degree in Geology. He also graduated from the LSU Dental Laboratory Technology program in 1997 with an associate degree in Dental Laboratory Technology. Additionally, he has graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree in 2001. He did graduate with the highest-grade point average in his class.
Dr. Flerra is a member of the OKU National Dental Honor Society, as well as an International Dental Honor Society that only consists of dentists who graduated with the highest GPA in their class. He is also a member of the C. Edmund Kells Dental Honor Society.
In our community, Dr. Flerra recently served as the President of the Iredell County Dental Society. He is a member of the Foothills Dental Continuum, which is a division of the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Flerra is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has completed a comprehensive postgraduate training program in the placement and restoration of dental implants at the Hands On Training Institute in London, Ontario.

Dr. Flerra is a great full service dentist. He will ease your fears over getting dental service and has a great chair side manner. If you want to go to only one dentist for all your needs you need to see Dr. Flerra.

Great dentist. I've had everything done from a cavity filled, a root canal and recently a tooth implant. He has always done good work. And he never tries to oversell me on anything. There really isn't no pressure here. Also the environment is great. It's already hard enough for a lot of people to go to the dentist and he's very nice and easy to talk to about your dental hygiene.

My family really enjoys going to the dentist at Dr. Flerra's. The atmosphere is friendly. They make sure I know what is going on with different procedures & ask if I have any questions . Even before Covid hit they always took great care to have a clean office & waiting room.

Finally after 35 years I was able to get the dental implants I have wanted and needed. I went through a lot of bad dental experiences t/o my life starting at the age 14. Dr. Flerra and his staff were so patient and caring, making me feel at ease to get through the whole process of getting my teeth healthy and new!! They patiently let me tell my story, cry and listened to my true fears. Each appointment, the staff went slow and explained each thing that was going to happen next. Dr. Flerra is very conscious of his patients well being. My entire family goes here as well as friends I have referred. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
