Our dental office has been established in Greenbrae, CA for 23 years. The practice hasvery relaxed pace, we see one patient at a time. The office features a calming scene of the Corte Madera Creek and spectacular views of Mt. Tamalpais in the background visible from each operatory. Geese and ducksare usuallypresentwith an occasional wadingegret or diving cormorant. Our patients love the ever changing scenery.
Dr. Friedman received his B.S. Degree in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1977; and his D.D.S. degree from UCSF Dental School in 1988.Prior to studying dentistry he workedas a researcher in biochemistry at UCSF. After graduating from dental school, he spent one year practicing dentistry for a nonprofit organization in Trinidad, West Indies. Returning to the Bay Area in 1989, he settled in Marin County and eventually established his practice. His interest in dentistry stems from a desire to blend art and sciencewith health and patient care. Dr. Friedman's practice philosophy is focused on the importance of prevention, quality restorative care, and the overall health and well being of his wonderful dental patients.
Dr. Friedman is a member of the Marin County Dental Society (MCDS), the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He participates in the MCDS Emergency Panel and the MCDS Peer Review Committee.
Dr. Friedman lives in Novato, CA with his wife. In his free time he enjoys walking, hiking in the open space, and playingguitar (Latin/jazz/classical) & doublebass.He also lovesbuilding nylon string guitars.

My family has be going to Dr. Friedman since 1999. He is focused on what matters to a patient. Extremely honest and extremely experienced. This is not a dentist that will push you through as if you're on a factory line. Dr. Friedman, and his practice manager, know his patients on a first name basis. 20 years ago I was a high school softball player with a front tooth knocked out. I was 17 and all alone, but I felt I was in his safe hands. Dr. Friedman got me through it. Moreover, he was very concerned with the details of his work. The work he did that day lasted far longer than expected. When I went off to college, my mother became his patient, because, she was impressed by his kindness and professionalism. My mother is a licenced physician, and she has always enthusiastically reccomended Dr. Friedman. Since then, I have also visited Dr. Friedman regularly. He saved me again this week; when I lost a filling, he was willing to fit me in to his schedule. He is extremely honest, he will only charge you for what you need. He always gives lots of information; plus, he has great patience. I am waaaaay more anxious that a normal person about dental work, and he was calming. God bless his soul.
