As our Flagship Practice, we have many team members to ensure the best possible patient experience for all the services and products we provide. Many team members also provide support services for our Oscoda office.
Every team member is essential to the smooth operation of our practice. Each one plays a key role in providing personalized, excellent care for each of our patients. All of our efforts are focused on our patients, and being the best dental practice in the area.
Laura joined our team in July 2018. She has two professional dental degrees. She is licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has hercertificationin Local Anesthesia andNitrous Oxide. She isalso licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant. She is a graduate of Delta College and received her Associate's Degrees in Applied Science for Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting.Her unique qualifications and multiple degrees, as well as her varied clinical experience makes her well qualified as our Clinical Manager. She works in our office as a Registered Dental Hygienist and a Registered Dental Assistant, in addition the her Clinical Manager duties.
Kim is originally from Harbor Beach. She completed her Dental Hygiene degree in 1997 at Kellogg CommunityCollege. She truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats. She especially feels accomplished when she can make people with previous negative memories from dentistry, comfortable and happy to be receiving care. Getting to know her patients individually is what she prides herself on, to provide not only high quality dental care, but gentle, yet through care.
Kate has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1994, and has been employed by our practice since 2005. She is a graduate of Ferris State University. Kate is a mother of 3 children, and is active in her church, community, and Cass City Schools.
Laura has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 10 years, and she joined our team shortly after shegraduated. She enjoys seeing new patients and easing their fears about dentistry. Laura loves getting to know her patients and seeing them and their families enjoying their dental experiences at our office!
Artith ('RD') is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She joined our team after a temporary injury to her hand. She helps in our front office with receptionists duties, and more now as a dental hygienist as her hand is healing. She brings with her many years of experience in dental hygiene and dental office experience.
Amanda joined our team in the summer of 2020 during the mandated lockdown of dentistry. She initially joined our team to help document our processes and procedures that were changing as a result of the coronavirus. She has had some formal training in dental assisting, and has a desire to work as a Dental Assistant. We quickly moved her to a Dental Assistant position. She still works some with the business staff to help with receptionist duties.
Nayeli has recently joined our team as a dental assistant. She was trained as a dentist in Mexico City, Mexico. There she practiced as a dentist until meeting the man who is now her husband and moving to Michigan. She has spent several years learning English and working in a teaching capacity. Now that she has good command of the English language, she is very excited to get back into dentistry. She knows much about dentistry, and is learning how we do things in America. She helps Dr. Thomas improve his Spanish, and is a very nice addition to our team.
Jannaeya helps part time as a dental assistant, receptionist, and in the business office. As the daughter of Dr. James Thomas, she enjoys the entire process of dentistry, and is happy to help where needed.
