Born and raised in the Richmond area, Dr. James Burton received his undergraduate and Masters of Teaching degrees from the University of Virginia. He taught middle school for several years and worked in youth ministry before pursuing his dental education at the University of Louisville. Jimmy and his wife, Sarah, have two daughters. His family is regularly involved in the girls school activities as well as in church ministry. He is well-known for his warm personality, gentle manner, and exceptional dental skills.
Charity and mission work are very important to Dr. Burton both personally and professionally. He has served in the dental mission field of El Progresso, Honduras, and provides care to members of the local community through regular work at the Lynchburg Free Clinic and for children affiliated with the Patrick Henry Boys and Girls Home.
