Dr. James Polley is passionate about his work in dentistry. He brings passion, enthusiasm, and creativity with him to work every day to provide his patients with beautiful, healthy and lasting smiles. Dr. Polleys passion, experience and specialized skills obtained from years of advanced dental training give him the tools he needs to improve the lives of his patients through better dental care.
Dr. Polley attended undergraduate school at Brigham Young University. He graduated cum laude from Creighton University School of Dentistry. Since 1991, he has consistently studied at the world-renowned Kois Center for Advanced Dental Learning an advanced graduate instructional and clinical program for practicing dentists who are committed to excellence. The Center features a comprehensive and in-depth curriculum with the most recent advancements in dental implants, esthetic and restorative dentistry. The Centers core focus is Advancing Dentistry through Science and Excellence. As a graduate, respected mentor and clinic instructor of the Kois Center, Dr. Polley is able to share his passion, knowledge, and skill as an advanced dentist with his colleagues.
A native of Las Vegas, Dr. Polley opened his practice in 1986 and has since been consistently voted as a Top Dentist in Las Vegas by peers and as one of Las Vegass favorite dentists by his patients. He belongs to the American Dental Association, Southern Nevada Dental Association, and Nevada Dental Association, a Fellow Member of the International Academy of Oral Implantologists and is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists.
Dr. Polley is happily married to his wife Susan. They have six children and seven grandchildren together. When hes not helping patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile or attending continuing education courses, Dr. Polley likes to spend time with his family, snow ski, hike, go fly-fishing and ride his mountain bike.

Staff tells me it will cost $386 for 1st appointment to get an estimate. Then they refuse to give me an estimate unless I pay another $375 for a 2nd appointment that another dentist said was unnecessary. I paid $386 for nothing!

I've had the pleasure being one of Dr. Polley's patients for 11 years. My family relocated to Las Vegas in 2011. It was important that we found a dentist for our family that could meet our needs. Dr. Polley and his staff were so kind welcoming us to their practice. This past year, Dr. Polley has helped me take the next steps to achieve the smile of my dreams! He supervised my orthodontic treatments and dental cleanings as a teenager with this "dream smile" always in mind. We're almost done with this process and I'm so excited! I can't stop looking in the mirror and smiling! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Polley to anyone that wants to explore having cosmetic dental work done!

I was referred to Dr Polley's office by a dear friend, I told her I had a lot of dental work to be done, and she was so happy with Dr Polley, and his Staff, she was sure I would be to, my first appointment was Amazing! I met with Dr Polley, and his technician, had X-rays done, and they explained everything thoroughly, I suffer from severe dry mouth, and it causes cavities, no matter what precautions I take, so I had to set up several appointments for dental work to be done... They have been Nothing but Amazing in making me comfortable, for my 4 hour appointments!!! The Staff, his assistant Charlotte is a Saint in my Book!!!! Nothing Short of!!! And So Is Dr Polley!!! I'm So Forever Grateful for all of Them!!! Dr Polley can make temporary crowns look better than most peoples regular permanent teeth, I swear!!! He is an AN ARTIST!!! I would never go anywhere else!! They are All Wonderful!!!

I live in California, but Dr. Polley is my dentist. I schedule all my cleanings and dental work for when I'm in town visiting family. I have never felt pain at this office. Dr. Polly is excellent and his staff is efficient and welcoming. I've never sat with anyone else in the waiting room. Their attention to Covid precautions makes me feel safe. If you can love going to the dentist, this office will qualify.

I have had one of the best dental experiences today. The staff is friendly, professional and gentle. The cleaning they did today was pain free and thoroughly done. Dr. Polley had done x-rays and a comprehensive exam prior. I feel confident in the care I have received and trust them to provide me with the best oral care in the city! ie see the award in the background!

Such a wonderful doctor. No pain my biggest fear is pain. Numbed me to give me the injections. The injections did not hurt one bit. The whole procedure was calm and attentive and the most professional I've ever had. In this time of COVID-19 they were above and beyond sanitary. Kindness and concern from the Minute I walked in the door.At home now And still no pain. I keep wondering when the pain is going to kick in. There isn't any. Crown done the same day with their advanced technology that they have on premises I sound like a commercial but I am really amazed. If you have any doubt take them out of your head. Go see them they're wonderful. Hard to find in Vegas

Very friendly staff. Dr. Polley was also very friendly, and got things taken care of efficiently. He did not rush anything, and made sure that I was numbed properly (which took a second set of shots). I could tell that he wanted to provide a first class experience, and wants his clients to feel comfortable.

This year, with COVID-19 and social distancing, I felt that Dr. Polley had gone above and beyond expectations where the health and safety of his patients and staff were concerned.
