Hello, I am Dr. James Miller. I am a Family, Cosmetic, and Laser dentist located in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am blessed to have a wonderful family. My wife Cari, daughter Brynn, and son Jack. I was raised in the beautiful (yet very cold) city of Calgary, Canada. Growing up, as with any good 'Canuck', I spent my time playing hockey, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors. It was in Calgary that I was influenced to become a dentist by my friend 's father, who is a dentist. After high school, I moved south of the border to attend Utah State University. After graduating college, I attended Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon and graduated in 1996. Wanting to be warm and dry, I moved to Arizona in July of 1996. In 2006, I opened my Scottsdale dental office. My vision was to create a comfortable and relaxing office that welcomed the whole famiy. I have a passion for dental technology and continuing dental education. It is a really exciting time in dentistry. There have been major advances in technologies a dentist can utilize to make care more comfortable and convenient. CEREC cad/cam single visit crowns and Periolase LANAP laser gum therapy to name a few. I pride myself in listening to you, and individualizing any treatment specifically for your needs. We would be honored to be your family 's dental care team!
In my spare time, besides chasing two active children, I still enjoy playing hockey at the Ice Den with the 'old guys'. I have also become a golf nut, much to the dismay of my wife. Please explore our website to see the different services we can offer. I look forward to meeting you.

Dr. Miller and his staff are very nice, professional and he has all the latest instruments and cameras to check your teeth. His hygienists are the most thorough on cleaning and checking my teeth that I have every experience. I would highly recommend

This office/dentist is the best that I have used in over 50 years. They really care about my well being, the staff is very professional, Dr. Miller has performed miracles with my teeth. I have referred 6 friends to them.

My crown broke while traveling to see my family in Az. I was able to make an appointment and have my crown replaced in 2 hours! I watched the machine make my tooth. Everyone there is so kind and helpful. The office is completely modern. I wish I lived here so Dr Miller could be my dentist. I might make an appointment when I come visit my family!

Dr. Miller and his office are the greatest dentists we've ever had! My family and I have been going here for years, they not only make us feel like family but they're extremely competent with their work. My daughter has a difficult schedule but they always work with us to get her in. We can't thank them enough for everything they do!
