Dr. Hutchinson isdedicated to continuing education to maintain and improvehisclinical skills.Hereceived a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry after an extensive amount of coursework in a variety of dental subjects. This keepshimcurrent on developing trends in dentistry. In addition, hehasworked for many years with the Washington Business Week program that mentors high school students in leadership skills.
Dr. Hutchinson donates his time to many local charitable and service organizations. He has worked on the Washington Dental Service Foundation SmileMobile for many years to servechildren in need. He currently is working on development of a dental residency program at Providence St. Peter Hospital and participates in the annual Olympia Union Gospel Mission Dental Benefit.
Giving back to a world that has been so kind to himis a big part of hislife. Every year, hetravels to Zihuatanejo, Mexico, along with other dedicated healthcare professionals to provide free dental service. Hehasbeen involved in the Kiwanis service club for more than 25 years and isa sponsor of numerous fundraising activities in the area.
Dr. Hutchinson and his wifeMargarethave three grown children and four amazing grandsonswho are the source of so much joy in their lives. He isa very outdoorsy person and lovesgardening, hiking, and nature photography. Hislifelong passion iscapturing theperfect waterfall image.
Barb graduated from the South Puget Sound Community College dental assistant program in 1989 and started her career with Dr. Hutchinson shortly after. She returned to South Puget Sound in 2014 to further her dental assisting career and graduated in September 2014 with her certificate as an expanded function dental auxiliary. With that certificate, she is now licensed to place fillings in the state of Washington. We are very honored and proud to have her; roughly three percent of dental assistants in Washington state have earned this achievement. She is a huge asset to our team and has the most upbeat, positive attitude! She has a way of making anyone feel comfortable.

Sarah was born and raised in Olympia and graduated from North Thurston High School. She lived in Bellinghamfor several years before deciding to move back home to Olympia. Sarah has been a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers since 2011 and spends a lot of her time in continuing education courses. Sarah keeps our practice focused on running smoothly and keeping our patients happy. Our office wouldnt be the same without her.

Ariel graduated from the South Puget Sound dental assistant program andworked as an assistant for a short time before moving to office administration, where she has been ever since. She greets all our patients with a friendly, caring smile and is always more than happy to help a patient whenever she can.
Becky provides preventive dental services, educates patients on dental and overall health, and explains individual treatments and options. She graduated from Pierce Community College in 2009 and received her bachelors degree from Eastern in 2011. Patient comfort and satisfaction is her primary goal, while always striving to provide the absolute best dental care possible. Becky shares the same level of professionalism and compassion with our team, and it shows to everyone who enters our office.
Becky was born and raised in Washington, and is very fortunate to have settled in Olympia. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter & their son. They love playing outside with their dog, going camping, traveling, and exploring new places!
