Whether you are a new patient, a referred patient or a patient seeking a second opinion Dr. Murphy and his team are dedicated to making the dental experience as easy as possible. The basis of our long-term relationship with you is, is the same as it is for all of our patients. Beyond our skills and knowledge is the importance of spending time with our patients, listening to their needs and concerns, and educating our patients.
After relocating from Winston-Salem in 1996, Dr. Murphy considers Salisbury his adopted home. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Murphy graduated from The Ohio State University. Post graduation, he completed a one year hospital surgical residency at The Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Murphy relocated to North Carolina and joined the practice of Winston-Salem Dental Care where he practiced until 1996. Since graduating dental school his quest for educational advancement continued. Some of his achievements include: Fellowship and Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry, Associate Fellowship from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and he is also an alumni of The Pankey Institute. It is due to Dr. Murphys drive to advance in the dental profession that enables him to further his pledge to offer patients the best possible care for a lifetime of health.

Neplus joined the team in 2007. Neplus earned her degree from Guilford Technical Community College. Neplus remains active with students from various schools as a member of the Dental Hygiene Exam Committee. She is also a certified CPR instructor.
Originally began in 1999 after graduating from RCCU as an assistant. Lori returned to school, graduating with a degree in dental hygiene from Guilford Technical Community College and though no longer full-time, Lori still remains a part of our team.
Jennifer also started as a dental assistant. After four years as an assistant, Jennifer returned to Forsyth Technical Institute and earned her degree as a dental hygienist. Jennifer has been a part of the team since 2010.
Kristin graduated from RCCU as a dental assistant and became a team member in 2006. Kristin is experienced with general dentistry, cosmetic and surgical procedures. Kristin is also an alumnus of Catawba College, Magna Cum Laude.
Linda has worked in the dental field for over twenty years, and has experience in all realms of dentistry, including surgical, sedation, perio and endodontics. Linda is also a Catawba College alumni, Suma Cum Laude.

After a motorcycle accident , my face was surgically repaired. Dr. Murphy took his time going over X-rays and explaining to me, my issues and what was needed to correct my dental issues. Not a stuffed shirt dental office Let's FACE it (haha) nobody wants that while getting dental work. I Respect his staffs experience , & appreciate the time they took with me. Not a dentist that wants to rush you in & out to get more patients funneled through. Great experience!! You will be happy with your decision.

They are caring and the best, the staff is so nice I love Kneeplus lol I just killed her name she is my favorite hygenist Dr. Murphy has saved me from loosing my teeth he even fixed my big ole tooth :) When I went to another dentist he wanted to remove all my teeth and gobbed me up with bonding . Dr. Murphy will always be my dentist and I will continue to recommend him to others .

I'm one of those adults who experienced painful, nightmare dentistry as a child, and was left with scars that affected me well into adulthood. Just making an appointment was next to impossible, and then as each day passed I experienced both panic and fear, often canceling the day before. Of course, modern dentistry helped alleviate some of my fears, but none of my previous dentists have been as thorough and pain-free as Dr. Murphy. I cannot recommend him and his practice more highly. He takes his time, never rushing nor making me feel as though my questions are silly or unimportant, is extremely gentle and has the ability to give Novocaine that doesn't hurt! His staff is excellent; always helpful and very friendly...from Kristy at the front desk, to the hygienist and his assistant. I am SO happy to have found Dr. Murphy!
