I went to this place about two years ago post pandemic. Dentist refused to sedate me until I got clearance from my PCP because I'm allergic to penicillin and have asthma. I waited for hours to be seen here to then look for a different dentist to do work on my teeth. Every dentist I've been to will not sedate. I had to sit through pain with another dentist that was working on me until I said no more. Now I'm in an ER and they're recommending this shotty place where they make you sit and wait for hours, you need a referral and make whatever excuse not to do their job. I'm glad I read all the feedback it was helpful

HORRIBLE, if there was an option for no stars this would be my rating. WHY have appointments when you have people waiting over 3 hours to see a SURGEON! WHY!!!!!!!!!! This is not a place for elderly people. There's no compassion nor accountability. I am so mortified by this place and the experience.

I have been waiting for two months to extract my wisdom tooth. I waited a month for my appointment. Then the night before they say I need a referral. That morning before my appointment that they would have canceled I get. But guess what instead of the extraction I waited a whole month for and they say it just a consultation. Mind you I am in constant pain ever second of everyday. I have this pointless consultation where I request an emergency insurance claim so it can be processed within 48 hour. Here I am two weeks later on hold with insurance right now because my last call to the office 20 minutes ago I was told to try again next week which would make three months. They don't care, are completely incompetent, I wouldn't trust them to brush my teeth. Do not waste your time here. I repeat DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

Would never recommend this place ..the price changed on a "so called needed service" from one visit to the next ..my "appointment" was actually a " consultation" which after was told needed approval ..waited over 2 hours each time I went and they also did a tooth extraction and left a piece of tooth there which my regular dentist found ..I would never ever recommend this place or return here I would place a triple negative in red if the site had the option ....Terrible they take super advantage because it's in the hood and people can't afford dentistry costs .. they abuse your time and intelligence

PLS Read the reviews before making an appointment here. it'll save you from wasting your time, disrupting your peace & energy. I came in for what I believe was a wisdom tooth extraction for 10am, I arrived at 10:05. was briefly seen at 11 to receive a sales pitch for socket fillers, valued at 2k. When I was no longer interested in that, I was told to wait for the oral surgeon advice. The oral surgeon didn't arrive to the location until 3PM I had a 10AM appointment. I was seen at 3:47pm not by the oral surgeon, but the gentleman that gave me the sale pitch at 11am... which lead to him telling me that "todays appointment" was actually a consultation... that I can't proceeded until my insurance approves, I either pay out of pocket, or apply for medical credit . I made this appointment 6 weeks in-advance, in addition to taking a week off work for this procedure. They chose to tell me the day of, vs 6 weeks ago. possibly to get patients into paying out of pocket on spot, push them into signing up for medical credit or w.e scheme the oral surgeon may have advised staff to do. They kept telling me that they would need an approval before doing work on my mouth. As I read the older reviews Its clear that he could care less. he doesn't plan on changing to accommodate new or existing clients so again don't waste your time, don't disrupt your peace & energy.

Prepare to live in the waiting room. The place is super slow, appointments are not on time, and you'll wait forever, easily 2hrs+ to see a dentist.

THE ORAL SURGEON IS NOT THE BEST BUT VERY HARD TO BEAT. PAPER WORK TAKES A LITTLE WHILE BUT WHEN ITS TIME FOR THE SURGERY DR SADEGHI AND HIS STAFF ARE ON POINT AND QUICK. HE TOLD ME BEFORE I FELL ASLEEP FROM GENERAL ANESTHESIA THAT WHATS DONE WELL IS DONE QUICKLY AND THEN I WAS OUT> SOME SHORT TIME LATER I WAS IN THE RECOVERY ROOM MINUS 4 WISDOM TEETH.AND FEELING AMAZING HE GAVE ME THE APPROPRIATE MEDICATIONS FOR HOME RECOVERY WAS A DAY SOME SWELLING WHICH IS NORMAL FOR 3 DAYS HIGHLY HIGHLY SKILLED

I have been to this office twice now and can attest to the fact that the staff are very pleasant. Unfortunately I will not be returning due to inconvenience of constant miscommunication between my insurance company & Jamaica Dental as well as the misleading information I've received from a receptionist at Jamaica Dental. I was assured that my requested services were approved and on my arrival this ceased to be the case. So the end result was wasted time and inconvenience. Would I recommend anyone here? No. Could Jamaica Dental improve? Yes.

I went to this dental office with my MIL at 4/7/2022. The receptionists are very helpful. They answered my inquiries very politely each time I asked. Their wait time is insanely long. We were there with tooth extraction referral. I demanded them to assess primary dentist decision. They said the tooth needed to be extracted and a dental collagen plug needed to be placed too. It costs us $800. We went with their decision as my MIL was in pain. The surgeon seems too busy. He came, saw the X-ray and went out. And then came to extract the tooth. He kept chatting that feels good and secure. The extraction procedure doesn't even take 5 minutes. They hurried the procedures. I understand the facility is very busy one, still they should take more time and done things more delicately. I don't have complains on their procedures, but their enthusiasm as a public healthcare provider. My MIL had big bruise on her cheek. It's painful to look; and professionally unacceptable.

I called for a root canal appointment. The receptionist told me the doc that specializes in root canals only comes in once a month. The next availability he has is NEXT YEAR APRIL 2023 (its currently 4/2022). Really? That's so ridiculous. I do not have a fair rating for the service as I never visited but I just wanted to warn everybody. How is that even possible. Wow.. I am just rating off of my interaction with the receptionist which was great. She was great but I was in shock with this information. Just no.

Hi I have my own general dentist but had a lot of pain in my mouth from my recent crown he performed. So I was referred to Jamaica Dental Care for a specialist to determine if I needed a root canal. This place was great and had a short waiting time. I waited 20 mins outside in the office area before getting called in and while inside only waited a short time as well. Also I was on the waiting list but the employees Ashwari and Ravi were both great and able to get me seen quicker, which I highly appreciated. She is a great worker and the staff there is very nice and professional. Really like this place a lot, they will be my new dentist for specialist. Great place and close to my home too.

Had appointment for 9:40 am but location didn't actually open until 10:00 am. After filling out some paper work, seen the dentist around 10:50 am. They took X-rays and got right to it. I went in for a root canal and it was practicall painless and it was quick. Hats off to bobak bakhshoudeh and his team!

They charged me 900 dollars for something my insurance paid for. They waited until I was sedated to admit to my mother they did put in the wrong code. They tried to charge me another 600 dollars saying it was "a deal" to put me to sleep. However my insurance covered that. Not to mention the 3 hour wait. I had an appointment for 12 I was not seen until after 2. The receptionist has a very disgusting attitude ( the Spanish one don't know her name) the only receptionist that helped was short and black (don't know her name either) but I believe she's the office manager. I WILL BE GOING BACK UP THERE TO DISPUTE THESE CHARGES. Freaking lazy half as thieves.
