Dr. Jade received her Doctor of Philosophy and certificate in orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University System Health Science Center in 2004 and 2006, respectively. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and has been practicing orthodontics in the Kennewick, WA area since December 2006.
Dr. Jade is an active member of American Association of Orthodontics, the Washington State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. In her spare time Dr. Jade enjoys gardening and spending time with her children.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, with an average of 2 years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.

I highly, highly recommend Dr. Jade! I moved back to WA last year and already had my braces on. Dr. Jade was able to easily take over my care without prolonging treatment at all. Even more, I had a root on one of my bottom teeth that was jutting in such a way that I was going to probably need a bone graft if Dr. Jade couldn't get it realigned, but she did! She kept a close eye on it and did all she could to ensure I didn't have to get more extreme treatment. The office is also a very comfortable place to be. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, from the front desk and scheduling staff to the assistants. I never felt nervous going in. I just got my braces off yesterday and am so pleased. My teeth turned out perfectly. They even gave me a pack of Starburst to enjoy now that I can eat chewy things again, which was very thoughtful. Definitely go to Dr. Jade if you want great care!

The place is full of nice people but I would go somewhere else to get my braces done. I am writing this review four years later. I have always been very good about wearing my retainer doing everything possible to keep my teeth "straight". When I got my braces off I did not feel comfortable with my teeth at all they were still slanted sideways but they just weren't overlapping each other they were lined up but they were still slanted so if I was to ever stop wearing my retainer my teeth would overlap instantly. Which definitely is not a confidence booster.. you pay $5700 for your teeth to go back in the position they were which is extremely disappointing. I still wear my retainer but I still don't like how my teeth look with it. They are still facing sideways which drives me nuts because from one side it looks like my teeth are crooked. I would just save the money and go somewhere else.

I just finished my braces journey with Dr. Jade after 2.5 years and I have no complaints. She's very attentive and listens to your concerns and desires. The office staff is very professional and friendly, they make you feel welcomed as soon as you come in. I would definitely recommend anyone who's looking to get braces, to come here.

Best ortho around. I have seen so many complaints about other orthodontist businesses and this one after a great experience I would recommend to everyone in need of braces. Very nice staff and clean equipment and clean work place. Stress free experience and they didn't charge any unnecessary extra fees that others may charge. Thank you Dr. Jade.
