Receiving a DDS degree from Marquette University, Dr. Jacobson benefitted from one of the best and most up-to-date dental programs in the country. Since there are always advances in dentistry, Dr. Jacobson pursues constant continuing education to provide his patients with the best possible care.
Dr. Jacobson has lived and worked in Grand Junction for 15 years and he loves calling the Grand Valley his home. He and his family were drawn to the area because of the welcoming small-town feel. They enjoy the wealth of outdoor activities available in the area, like hiking, mountain biking, and camping. They also really enjoy a good rodeo.
I have been working with Dr. Jacobson since he opened his practice in 2005. My favorite part of being a hygienist is seeing families for generations. I love taking care of all our patients and watching their families grow.
I love working at Dr. Jacobsons office! I always enjoy seeing familiar faces and meeting new people. Working the front office allows me to guide people through tough insurance questions so they get the best coverage and service possible.
I am lucky to have been involved with the practice from the beginning. After 16 years, many patients become like family. I enjoy supporting patients to help them achieve and maintain healthy and beautiful smiles.

Edit: I'm sorry but I've had to adjust my starts. It's now barely three years since getting several fillings. Every single one of them has broken and had to be removed. Every. Single. One. They were also incredibly painful for months when chewing after I got them installed and I was told by Jacobson's staff that that pain was normal. Having now had seven teeth drilled by my new dentist all I can say is they were wrong and I don't really know why he runs the place like that. The people at Jacobson Family Dental are super friendly. I enjoyed my time with them, but their work quality is real bad and I hate having to say it publicly but I also cannot in good conscience recommend this dentist to anyone ever. I had never had fillings done before so I guess I was just too generous in accepting them telling me it was going to hurt for several months afterwards. That should not be the case and is not the case with my new dentist. Old review: I've been going here a bit over a year now. Hands down the best medical provider locally. I work at the hospital next door so I have a broad range of people to compare to and these folks have always been awesome. The dentist is a real nice guy who jokes and remembers you from visit to visit. The hygienists are all super friendly as well. They've never given me grief about my health issues making me flaky. I've had to cancel and reschedule several appointments due to recurring illness over the year. They've never done more than say okay and reschedule. We are moving next week to Greeley and they went out of their way to get me back in for some last fillings. Heck they called me to remind me after I had to cancel to once again being sick. That's how much they care, remember, and try to help. The actual procedures are quick and as painless as possible. They answered all my silly questions as I've never had fillings before and after 8 years of well water I needed several. My teeth finally don't ache and hurt constantly which was a huge relief. I'm going to miss coming to such a competent and professional office.

My family and I have been coming to Dr Jacobson family dental for over 10 years. My son goes here as well. It's clean, the staff is caring and knowledgeable. We always enjoy our dental visits.

I have had a lot of dental work done over the years and this is by far the best dentist office I've visited. The staff is incredibly responsive and familiar w patients, preemptively meeting unknown needs, always warm and welcoming. Dr. Jacobson is very professional, he clearly explains what he sees, what the patient's options are, it's clear that it's very important to him that his patients have a sense of agency and control in their own health care which I find very refreshing and comforting. Dr. Jacobson is also very considerate of his patients' needs and how to best serve them, he's been the most helpful provider when it comes to navigating insurance plans to make sure his patients get what they need. in addition to all of that he works fast. like incredibly fast. I've gone in for fillings and been in and out of the building within 30 minutes. I'm continuously amazed how fast the appointments go. I'd definitely recommend this dental practice.

Dr Jacobson is so very gentle, detail oriented, and kind. He explains everything in detail. His staff is friendly, caring and personable, while at the same time showing professionalism. My husband and I would like to add our names to the "Best Dentist in Mesa County" list.

I've been coming here for years now. The entire office is so kind and sweet. I am autistic and they've always been very accommodating to my sensory needs and very patient when I struggle with things. Easily the best dentist in town.

It has been over 1 year since this dentest has not given me my front tooth and just won't release the code so another dentist can put a front tooth in.playing games like they are still in high school making the patient suffer for there own amusement.
