Dr. Timothy Jacobs, a native of Aurora, attended Nebraska Wesleyan University then graduated from the University of Nebraska Medicine College of Dentistry in 1987. Upon graduation, he began practicing in Grand Island. Dr. Jacobs is a member of the American Dental Society, the Nebraska Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry Association. He is committed to staying active in dentistry and completes many hours of continuing education each year. He and his wife Shawn live in Grand Island and have one son; Luke, who is in college.
Dr. Cody Rush joined Jacobs Family Dentistry in August 2021. He attended Grand Island Northwest graduating in 2012, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and then graduated from the UNMC College of Dentistry in 2020. Cody and his wife Emily have been married since college and welcomed their first baby Samuel in the spring of 2020. Outside of work and family Cody enjoys the outdoors, spending his time hunting and fishing while also attending many sporting events. He is excited to be back in Grand Island to serve and give back to the community that has supported him throughout the years.
Joan was born and raised on a farm southwest of Ravenna, Nebraska. She attended and graduated from high school in Ravenna, She received her Associates Degree in Dental Assisting from Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte, Nebraska. Joan has been with Jacobs Family Dentistry since 2005. Joan lives in Ravenna with her husband and their two dogs. In her spare time, Joan loves sitting on her porch with a good book and a glass of ice tea.
Jason has lived the majority of his life in Grand Island. He graduated from Northwest High School. He continued his education at the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a degree in business management, followed by completing the dental hygiene program at Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska. Jason has enjoyed working as a dental hygienist for over 25 years, with the last 23 at Jacobs Family Dentistry. He enjoys camping, hunting and fishing with his two children, Dylan and Shelby. He also enjoys restoring classic cars in his spare time.
Joyce has been working at Jacobs Family Dentistry for 24 years. She attended Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska where she received her Associates Degree in Dental Assisting. Joyce lives in Grand Island with her husband Jack. Together they have three children.
Sara has been a dental hygienist since 2000. She earned her hygiene degree from Central Community College in Hastings. She also has a Bachelorss degree in Recreational Therapy/Management from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. She has been with Jacobs Family Dentistry since 2010. Sara lives in Grand Island with her husband, Todd. Together they have five kids.
Mirna was born and raised in California. She later moved to Grand Island and graduated from Northwest High School. She then attended Central Community College in Hastings where she received her Dental Assisting Diploma. Mirna has been with Jacobs Family Dentistry since 2001. Mirna lives in Grand Island with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

Dr. Jacob's has been my dentist for nearly 40 years. He and his staff are the best -- respectful and caring. His dental work is impeccable and I have had to have a lot of it. Grand Island is fortunate to have him and his clinic.

Love Jacobs Family Dentistry. Great personalities, exceptional customer service. Always friendly and honest. The staff and doctors do a great job and are extremely personable and I love that even my kids are comfortable, it makes the entire experience so much better knowing we are in great hands.

I have been going to Dr. Jacobs for approximately 30 years. He always makes sure I am comfortable when having not so fun things done, and his staff is always friendly and they know what they are doing. I recommend this place for any age!

We have using Jacobs Family Dentistry for about 4 years and are very impressed with the service and Care we received. Always have time for emergency help and working around our schedules to make sure we get timely check ups and work well with our Insurance. I would recommend them to anyone. They are also bilingual for those Spanish speaking Citizen .
